  • Just play the game already

    Skullgirls is a great, 2d fighting game with unique characters and an interesting, multi ending story (depending on each character). Though the story isn’t fully in the mobile version yet, it’s still amazing and completely worth it. Since each character plays differently, you definitely start favoritising some over others. Personally I love using Parasoul, one of my friends prefers Peacock, another is a big Double fan. The stamina function makes sure that even if you do choose a favorite, your other fighters get balanced out and you get practice with all your characters.
    Since refighting battles gives less experience than the first win, daily events help train lower leveled fighters that need experience.
    Some battles contain randomized fighters which keeps things from being too repetitive and stagnant.
    My main issue would just be that sometimes the game crashes on me, though it’s not too bothersome.
    My data was wiped during the big server crash, but all the relics and such ended up making up for it heavily. In fact I’m further ahead now than I think I would have been if it didn’t happen. The company clearly cares about its players and I hope things continue to be great.

  • Used to be my favorite

    As you can read from the title I LOVED this game, after every new patch I would spend hours in training mode seeing what combos were taken out and what new ones were implemented but one thing I didn’t expect happening was skullgirls transitioning from line skullgirls to just skullgirls and I was ok with that because I just had to make a line skullgirls account and Emmy progress would even there... or so I thought after trying to log in I ended up making a new account on accident and then seeing that I could sync with my email I tried doing that which ended up putting the new account with my email and syncing it with my old account where I had almost every gold charecter and still managed to be F2P, and every time I tried to sign in to a new account I had to wait for the tremendously long downloading time so I eventually gave up. So I definitly recommend this for new players but there should definitly be a way to sign out of accounts in game and a way to find old accounts :/

  • Showtime!

    This is a game worth downloading. Try it for at least fifteen minutes, and you’ll be hooked. Take me, for example—I only came because of the character Painwheel, and I got utterly invested in the entire Skullgirls story, along with all its quirky, lovable characters, including Filia, Peacock, Beowulf, and even the more hate-able characters like Valentine, Eliza, and Double.
    It honestly feels like BlazBlue: Revolution Reburning mixed with Marvel: Contest of Champions. It has a number of the same systems as Marvel, but with the fully fleshed-out battle system of BlazBlue. In fact, it improves on both. While microtransactions are present, they’re not at all necessary to get the most out of the game like in BlazBlue—in fact, you’ll almost never even feel the need for them, as the resources they provide are surprisingly plentiful during normal gameplay, and you can get a lot of bang for your buck (so to speak). Also, unlike in Marvel, getting the characters you want at the tiers you want them isn’t as agonizing as it might appear. It just takes patience and tenacity.
    Overall, this is an amazing game. Come for the character you like, stay for the rest. Ladies and gentlemen...Showtime!

  • I love this game

    Ok so i got this game about a week ago and I had played it nonstop and I had a roster i was truly happy with,but what with the emergency Maintenence I lost all my data and as great as the compensation is it kinda killed the game because I had beaten the campaign on All difficulties except for the last mission and I was proud of myself for committing to a game so much,but now that I have lost my data my motivation for the game has plummeted due to the simplicity of the gold and silver characters I got and how easy the fights are in the beginning and my tendency in not liking to repeat stuff I may not play the game as religiously as I did before but other than that it's an amazing game and keep up the good work guys I appreciate all the help that was put to help recover data and comfort players and will I will try to enjoy the game without my old data even though I would highly favor my old data as opposed to the current account,but still thanks for a fun game guys😄👍

  • Addicting and Fun! A+++

    I played the old LINE version of Skullgirls, and loved the game to death even then. After anxiously awaiting the release of this new version, I have not been even slightly disappointed. The artwork is still beautiful, the characters still animated and fun, the controls still tight and responsive, and the game still amazingly fun and addicting. The fighting is deeply satisfying, and each character has a varied style that lets you find certain characters that work better for the individual. Plus they’ve added a bunch of cool little tweaks to the game, such as the original Japanese voices for the characters, and damage text for damage over time effects in game. In addition, while it does have in-app purchases, this is another one of those games where it’s not P2W. I haven’t paid for anything and the game is still addicting and fun to play, and I never feel like my experience has been ruined in any way. A big shout out to the developers for making such an awesome app, and for making the transition to the new app easy and painless. You created an awesome game with an awesome following and you guys don’t get enough credit for it. Can’t wait until Ms. Fortune comes out! Stay awesome!
