Why? Just why?
The old saying goes. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Why would you change the ability to change your vehicle on the app. I’ve looked! I’ve looked everywhere! It’s gone, it used to give you an option to do it when you went to pay for your order and again before you went to pick up said order. Why is that option now gone? Then to top it off it’s not in your settings either! So you’re telling me I have to actually login to the website to change my vehicle? Why? What sense does that make? Y’all out here making the public employees out here looking dumb! My guy was walking all around the parking lot looking for me and I kept missing him to let him know it was my order! I knew the vehicle was wrong but I’ve always had the option to change it before I went to pick up anything. We live in a day and age where A.I. is better and smarter than us. So leave it to A.I. stop messing with things. I love Instacart but this is a problem for me and before you say Publix and Instacart have different apps; I know they do but I checked both apps and was unable to change my vehicle details. FIX IT!
And yes I wrote the same review on Instacart app. I’m mad. It’s getting too hot out here to have people walking the whole parking lot looking for a car that doesn’t exist.App generally works well…
From a tech side the app seems to work well but it would be nice to be able to delete things we will never order again. Also- items that the app shows with plenty in stock are FREQUENTLY reported as out of stock by the instacart shopper. Very disappointing. If they’re choosing between several stores to shop, it would be nice to be able to mark one or two items as a MUST HAVE so that a shopper where that item is in stock will shop the item. It’s not fair when I make a tip based on a high total and then the one thing I need isn’t available when it showed plenty were in stock in the app. I’ll never reduce the tip because I feel that’s not fair to the shopper. Thanks for the convenience of having orders delivered. Keep up the good work!!Braindead shoppers and useless support
I placed a simple order for a bag of potatoes and one other item. I received a notification that the potatoes were out of stock and, somehow, there was “no acceptable replacement.” I found it very unlikely that the entire store would be out of potatoes. I went to select a replacement and sure enough there were plenty of other kinds of potatoes available. Before I could select a replacement, I was informed that the shopper had already checked out and I could no longer select a replacement. This ultimately resulted in me driving to the store for them myself, the very thing I was trying to avoid by using this app.
I reached out to customer service multiple times, but neither of the “people “ I connected with seemed to even comprehend the problem or offer any kind of meaningful solution. I am not certain they can even read English.
My experience with this app, my very first time using it, has been beyond terrible and I highly recommend you to use another service for grocery delivery.
