Customer, beware! I have been a loyal Publix customer for several years and used the app for the past 5 years or so. Since the last couple of weeks, the app’s been acting up, not showing the store locations or the savings, for example. It took me deleting and reinstalling it a few times to figure out that the app is working just fine, showing all locations and savings, until you log into your account. When you do so, it pops up a screen prompting you to accept or decline to have your activity tracked. If you select “ask app not to track”, it becomes useless, which means that they don’t want you as a grocery store customer; they want your personal data. What will they do with that? Sell it? Track the weekly savings you use most so they can limit what is shown to you on your version of the app? Anyway, it’s a deceitful activity and I am not going along with it. I will not use the app until their policy changes back to what it was until a couple of weeks ago.
