Is this app for humans?
I have been a Vons/Pavilions club member since I have been an adult and have shopped with my parents and grandparents before that…now we have the Vons app, which is so incredibly complicated and un-user friendly that it makes going the store an entirely new stressful experience. Besides the app constantly changing its layout and the function that the user selects, it also has 4-5 different menus and screens with coupons to clip, and online only deals that need to be added to your account prior to checkout. Then at checkout I was informed by the check stand attendant that I needed to recall the deal and price for each item because she is unable to determine which groceries I have in my cart that carry a discount. So I got to look like a fool in a full line of frustrated customers while I attempted to explain that I was shopping got deals on items I wanted and I was not certain how the app was supposed to be utilized if I was already shopping in the store physically. I can understand special deals that need to be accessed online, but what happened to the regular club card discount? An app does not always simplify or make things more convenient…
