  • Great depth, lacks polish

If you are looking for a game that has depth and active developers then this is the game for you. One of the best strategy games on the App Store that isn’t just another clone and the best sci-fi game hands down. Unique features.

However be warned that it is lacking a little in the polish department and could use some tender love and care but I have zero doubts that the developers will work on that.

Edit: Specifically the ship editing and creation area. I have no idea what the different weapons or defenses do and their differences. I can’t find the information readily available. The fact you can create ships is alone more than making up for this fact though and the number of features that this game has is mind boggling in the best ways. Mostly the difficulty in finding information on some features is where it lacks polish in my opinion such as the differences between pirates and elites. There are so many features that it can sometimes be hard to know what some of them do or find the information readily available.

Hi! Thank you for the positive feedback. We'd love to hear from your perspective where Nova Empire could use more polish. If you have time, please let us know your thoughts and we'll try to work on these improvements going forwards!
  • Pay 2 win

    Pay 2 win.

Hi. We really try to avoid "pay to win" in Nova Empire. There are several very strong free players in the game and it's a game you can do very well in with just hard work. We think it's quite different to what's our there on the store at the moment. We hope you'll give us another chance and please let us know if you have any other feedback. Thanks!
  • Can’t download resource list

When I open the game it says fails to download resource list even though I clear up my phone. I don’t understand.

Hi. We've made some changes to try and resolve this issue for you. Can you let us know if it's still happening? Thanks!

Developers allow p2w players to cheat and do not enforce the rules of the game at all7 players have 73 bases that I can prove and we all have proven. They said they will make them useless. Never happened. They say a lot they do very little. The changed pirates so free to play people couldn’t possible keep up. Went from framing 8 hours and getting decent rewards for it. To not even worth farming regular pirates at all. Went from hard work paying off and allowing u to keep up. To taking 15x as long to do the same thing. They want money and that is it. It’s funny most games would be happy with 15 a month per player they want 1000s per player. And if you cause payers a problem through actually playing the game. Well they make it useless for you. But hey pay and cheat all day they don’t care.

  • Eve Online Mobile Addition

You start off with some small fleets and a station but by fighting off pirates, mining asteroids/planets, researching new weapon/component/hull techs, scanning planets for rare events/resources you can grow your empire into a force to be reckoned with and then the real fun begins... full player vs player combat fighting over territory, strengthening your alliance against a larger foe... but strength can be countered with intelligence. Infiltrate a enemy alliance, join their ranks, find out their weaknesses. Report back to your own alliance, decide on the perfect time to strike. This game has it all.

  • Great Potential

While definitely a promising game, frequent connection drops can make for a frustrating experience. The mechanics are fun and cater to multiple play styles. The Galaxy you can explore is huge, and I feel as though I’ve barely scratched the surface. Resources can take a while to collect however you stock at least one resource type by mining planets and destroying NPC fleets (or using credits that can be earned in limited supply or purchased).
It is clear that a lot of effort was put into this by the developers. Hopefully the connection issues are fixed (tested this on multiple devices and connections just in case it was me). It would be nice to be able to ‘mine’ multiple resource types as well. But in all fairness, the latter may be possible and I just haven’t travelled that far into their vast world. This game may be going places and I look forward to revisiting this and revising to 5 stars.

  • To the players.

Let me tell you a story. It all began when my alliance declared war on another alliance, one which was lesser developed. We had a massive fleet and were headed to battle when all of the sudden, the enemy popped out his wallet and are fleet turned to rubble. Shortly after, he began attacking are main star system, in which he destroyed many of our bases, our defenses, and our alliance HQ, without losing a ship by the way. What I’m trying to say is know your enemy, one minute they’re lesser developed, and the next they’re ten times your strength. This message is for the players, because the developers don’t care about the balance between those who put time into this game and those who put money into it. As long as they’re filling their pockets, this will keep happening.

  • Great Game, Feels Like It’s In Beta

I was genuinely pleasantly surprised at how detailed this game is. Most mobile games can’t hold my attention for more than five minutes, but this one has managed to keep me around for a week so far. It can be a little rough around the edges sometimes, and it feels overly simplistic as well (not enough features). I get the impression it’s still in beta, however, so I’m expecting the devs to add a lot more features in the future. For example, there are so many features that could be added to expand on how alliances work and can be organized/managed. Something I think the devs have done right is how easy it is to save up premium currency by earning it through achievements without making it unnecessary to actually buy it. I would also appreciate if the devs updated their progress on the game more often if that’s possible. Overall, I really enjoy this game and believe it will easily be worth five stars once it’s more polished.

  • P2w

Game is now pay to win cause you can’t keep up with the stronger players that spend money.
