Power off works from remote app but when using Alexa it won’t power off with Hisense skillLaughlin player.
Remote works
I’ve not tried casting anything, but I love this app as a remote for the tv. Our remote quit a while back and for the last week the tv decided to put itself in store mode. No way to change it without a remote. This app made that possible and saved me a ton of money on a new tv. My rating is for this app only, the hisense tv itself is garbage. It freezes constantly, the smart functions never worked well. But this app allows me to put off buying a new tv for a few months.Show lessNate34580754
Doesn’t work
The app is horrible won’t even connect. Looks like it has potential to be cool if I could get it to connect. It sees my tv but when I click on it the little circle flashes fast and goes away. If I click it a few times it will stay and be on an endless loop for a long time never connecting. So sad :(Show lessconcerened in florida
Works as advertised!!
I think the majority of the negative reviews stem from operator error. In order for the remote app to connect you have to ensure you go to Settings > Network and Internet > Content Sharing > and toggle to on. After that your phone will recognize the TV and voila! Hope that helps - enjoy!!Jetdoc76

This app is an absolute waste of time. I downloaded this in order to cast a concert on my phone to my tv, but it won’t connect. The tv shows up to connect to on the app, but nothing happens. And then when I check my WiFi on my tv, it tells me “miracast is exist, network can’t be used” which isn’t even a proper sentence?! I can’t believe I wasted my money on two of there tvs. Customer service’s response to all of these reviews are generic and exactly the same, which is also garbage. Very disappointed. Wouldn’t even leave one star if it didn’t make me.Show lessthickolascage

It won’t detect my TV even though i’m on the same network. Same problem as a lot of people, this is just lazy 🤣 Especially your “customer service” i’m seeing in the reviews. Who runs this circus?kayla m martinez
Can’t use
You have to have phone and tv hooked up to same internet... I’m trying to hook my tv to my phone but can’t without the remote.. so now I have a big nice 55” tv and can’t watch it, have to watch Netflix on 5” iPhone screen.. kinda stupid the program can’t find a tv 3 foot away.melwallis
I wasted my time!
Lesson learned, to start reading the ratings. I feel like a fool now that I wasted my valuable time that I nor the developer of this crap can give back.
The only thing works with this app is the delete function from my device.

Main reason I bought a Hisense TV is so I can connect it to my Alexa enabled devices. Mostly so I can control my tv via my voice. The fact that the app AND the tv are connected to the same network and it tells me that it’s not is extremely frustrating. I’ve downloaded the latest version and have reset both my phone AND tv but nothing seems to fix this issue.Show lessJramirez031494
