Awful awful awful.
1. No directory integration with central user base such as Active Directory, Azure, Google, Identity Provider, etc. In this day and age (time of the cloud and integrations and API’s) this is imperative!
2. No ability to set a default view. - I don’t want a pointless and useless chat windows as my first view when I open the app. I want to set the main window as my phone : dial pad. However, even that’s useless without a decent central integrated user directory.
3. The settings are not clear. For example it doesn’t walk the user through the requirements and options enough. The help guide videos are too small and out of date. For example there’s no explanation of why the app asks for your mobile number and what functionality this provides.
I would move to Microsoft Teams in the blink of an eye if it wasn’t for the worry of call quality and some missing enterprise calling features with MS Teams.
This is an awful app, and I know our users are going to say the same thing.
Come on Broadsoft, get your designers and UX teams to COMPLETELY remake this app.
It’s one of the worst iOS apps I’ve seen in years! It’s EXTREMELY outdated!!!
