I’ve been using Body Groove to exercise for some time. I love the workouts and would highly recommend. They’re full of energy, and there is enough variety that you can pick what suits you, from easy and low energy to more full-on dancing that gets your heart pumping. Plus it works your whole body, the dances are easy to follow, and you can do them your own way.
The app can be frustrating. An update last year prevented me from mirroring it to my Apple TV. When I switched to using my iPad, the recent update reorganized the videos, which made the ones I like harder to find, the videos wouldn’t switch orientation to match the orientation of my device until I pressed play and full screen, making it hard to find and select a video when everything was sideways, and then an error prevented me from playing the videos unless I downloaded them. But that hasn’t detracted from the content.
I love Misty and the other dance instructors. They bring a sense of fun to exercising, which I really needed. It’s my go to app for exercise.
