  • Some features not explained

What do the + and - buttons do in the auto scheduler panel? Do they make it run more and less often? By how much? How is this determined in relation to the automatically set times?

Also, is there a way to get my Landroid back online after a manual stop or error WITHOUT bringing it all the way back to the base? Because that’s the only thing that will work. None of the controls in the app OR on the actual unit will function once it’s in such a state. Thanks!

Hello, yes, the + and - buttons make the robot run more or less often. You can read more about auto schedule in our Landroidopedea, or please contact us at app-support@positecgroup.com , we will be happy to explain you everything. Regards, WorxTeam
  • Backup straight when crossing boundary wire on downward slope

Backup straight when crossing boundary wire on downward slope. This will eliminate all my out of bounds errors
  • Keep iterating

The features of this app are great. With a few more pieces of functionality, this will be a great app for a great product.

    1. Remote control. The Landroid should be autonomous but still requires manual intervention from time to time. It runs outside of the wire pretty frequently. I understand the safety concerns with a running blade, it would be completely acceptable to turn the blade off while remote controlling.

    2. Start the unit remotely after a fault. After I’ve remotely controlled the Landroid (once feature request 1 is complete), I’d like to be able to tell the unit to start mowing again.

    3. Turn the blade off.

    4. Put a tiny camera on the Landroid. No need for anything more than a megapixel. I would love to be able to see a picture of where the Landroid is when it goes outside the wire. This would be awesome to stream while remote controlling as well.

    5. With the GPS unit, I should be able to draw my lawn on a map rather than using the wire.

  • Update: App does (-not) work

I’ve got decent WiFi across my yard. I’ve got a 150 20 ft from an access point. I’m able to get the Landroid to chirp and tell me it’s connected to my app, but the app never updated from the spinning wheel. Unable to control this thing unless I go to it. Manually updated firmware2 with USB, manually input WiFi with USB. Still cannot connect...

I was never able to connect to the robot through WiFi. But I did purchase the Find my Landroid GPS module. And while it was not cheap it does work flawlessly. Bypassing WiFi, the SIM activated within about 4 minutes and we were up and running after a quick firmware update.

One star dinged because WiFi never worked. And because one issue with the app. When trying to map my lawn size the app kept freezing out adding weird way points . The exclude area function was cludgy at best. I had to walk my perimeter 5 times to get a usable reading. Once the perimeter was set, happy mowing. Theodore, my lawn butler, is now happily wandering aimlessly.

  • Missing wire

Newly installed. Light was green. Now it’s solid red constantly says wire missing. It has never mowed the lawn yet due to this. I’ve purchased equipment to look for a break in the line, there appears to be no break. Also did the test loop and it does turn back green but turns red when I put the wires back in that are actually around the lawn. I don’t have enough wire to redo the entire lawn. I regret getting it as I can’t use it at all. I’ve spent a week trying to get it to work. Hate it! Wasted so much time setting up the lawn for this!

  • This app was great last year

I don’t know what happened but this app is almost useless now. It has a massive delay on what the mower is actually doing. When I select party mode it doesn’t turn on and off. Everything it’s just delayed when I begin using this app in 2021. It worked perfect all last summer.

  • Doesn’t WORX

Mower says WiFi pairing successful, but app says error and can’t be used.
GUI design is cumbersome and could be simplified with fewer screens.
Error log rows could fit 5 times as much information per line.
Seller requested error log from inside mower by using a USB stick to see why ACS is not working, could be emailed from app.
Over the air firmware updates not working.
Mower crashes into and grinds against obvious objects in the boundary area such as garden beds.

  • Doesn’t work in Canada?

Ordered one just now and downloaded the app to learn more but Canada isn’t an option available to choose when initially logging on? Can I not use it in Canada?

    Developer Response

Hi, we've added the country, but due to a bug it may be needed to remove and reinstall the application. We're publishing the fix for this issue with the next version

  • A feature I’d like to see

I think the latest upgrades to the app are good - especially the double scheduling. What would be great would be the ability to schedule by zone. This is the one feature that is most needed, in my opinion.
