Love my IBI

I just got this for my birthday, 3 weeks ago, everything has been so easy. The only exception is downloading from the Cloud. The first time I have felt in control of my pictures in years!! Such a relief!! ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ
Does anyone know how to download from the cloud?

Hard time learning all the options.

Would like A good instructional video

I love my ibi!!!

This was a Christmas gift from my sister and I am not sure what I did without it!!!
Buy buy buy!!!

Great way to share photos and backup

Would be 5 stars if it had an app or another way where we could use computer to add photos instead of only using phone or iPad

Not good for Mac

Instructions say to open photos in finder then choose pictures. Canโ€™t be done because finder only has one file and it doesnโ€™t copy that. Wish I could have have seen this before buying. Great for pc users.

Another way to stay connected

Being a Grandfather I sent invites to children and grandchildren. Nana and Papa (thatโ€™s me) are really smiling and enjoying the great pics being added. I just wish I had bought a larger memory device because my son does a lot of video. Very happy with how it is going to date. Good idea.

Complicated

I like the idea of the IBI, but I find it confusing, I will figure it out eventually.

IBI- a good deal

The Good

Easy to use.
Program seems well supported so far
Can organize photos in different ways
Quick, safe approach to sending photos to friends as only a link to the drive is sent to others. They can then download pictures they want to their computer.
Can use on any device โ€” from cells to laptops to desktops on all major operating systems (Havenโ€™t checked Linux systems)

The Bad

Canโ€™t organize pics in slideshow. Pictures added always become first ones of album.

Iโ€™ve had this gadget for about a month. It was a bit confusing to set up, mostly because I didnโ€™t expect to have to use my cell to do so. Cell phones are hard to do such stuff on.

It has worked flawlessly for me. I didnโ€™t use it as a backup where I would copy all 20,000+ pics to it. I have other backups for that and my pictures are already gathered together. Instead I use it to send my favorites to family and friends as jpegs. (I take all pictures with a Panasonic mirrorless camera then touch up as needed before showing to anyone). It is quick for me and much easier for family who have slow internet connections.

Iโ€™d prefer to also have a wired connection as those are always much faster than WIFI. If you several people using drive at same time you will find connections to be slower.

Does not support download from Apple iCloud

Bought expressly to download pictures from Apple iPhone iCloud, so Iโ€™m disappointed. Now Iโ€™ll have to figure out another method. Since this was highlighted on iDropNews youโ€™d think it would support iCloud compatibility.
