  • Difficult to use

It gets the job done, but its not well designed and isn’t user friendly. The app signs me out just about every time I use it. I have to sign back in repeatedly and the domain for the app isn’t the same name so its difficult to find the password in a password manager. Once you are checked in its not easy to find your wait. You have to click through several nested menus and screens to find the waitlist. The suggested time and your individual wait time are hidden as well, and when you do find them its in the smallest font of anything else on the screen. Sure the app does all the things its supposed to but its very lacking in user experience and ease of use. Definitely do not use the app while you’re driving or if you aren’t 100% present. You have to stop what you’re doing, focus, wander around the app - if you don’t, you won’t be able to use it.

  • Best hair cut I’ve ever gotten

It’s a huge statement saying the best hair cut I’ve ever gotten, especially being I’m 65 years old and the number of times I’ve gotten my hair cut. I went to the Sports Clips in Mansfield on Hwy-287 and my stylist was Pink. She took her time and did a scissor cut without rushing through the cut. I went in a couple weeks late with shaggy hair and came out with a perfect cut. I’ve never written a review before and this tells you just how happy I am with the outcome. Thanks to Pink, I’ll tell everyone I can how great of a job you did.
    Thank You
    Joe

  • Good - but could be better. I don’t do the MVP because of it.

This is really good now - but my last several experiences (at different locations) the initial estimated time has been way off by 30 minutes or more. A lot of factors will determine the wait time including the more difficult cuts and clients that do the MVP. I tend not to get the MVP knowing that there’s a long backup of clients and I know it’ll back things up further if I do. Also quite often my in store wait was much longer than expected planned and I just don’t have the time. I would be more inclined to if the app would give a more realistic time with a range based on the various factors. I.e. 30-50 minutes. There could probably be better AI built in the back-end that looks at client history, time of year/week/day/weather/events and the cutter’s speed and success on selling MVP. It seems that it would help predict staffing needs as well. Would also be nice to have the app alert you based on est travel time and updated estimated time for your cut.

  • SportsClips

This is a great app especially when you find the hair stylists you get in sync with its hard but looking forward to replacing my 25 year running stylists that has retired. With this app you were able to see how many minutes or hours it will be until your stylist is available and you can book that timeslot. Understand the time slot is not an appointment so you may have to wait a bit of time. She’s finishing up her current client. You don’t see these girls sitting around or pushing a broom. They are cutting hair all day long. Make sure you give them an appropriate tip for your income bracket, they deserve it.
    Thank you Lindsey.

  • Impressed

I am very impressed with the application and staff. First the application, which has allowed me to seamlessly check in and gain a spot in line for me and my sons, whenever we are in need of a haircut. The wait times are fairly accurate and if not, the staff is always accommodating to make sure that we are given a haircut in a fair manner and reasonable amount of time. As for the staff can’t say enough about how kind and helpful they are. Not only are they good at haircuts but regardless of turnover, they always seem to be on top of customer service.

  • Good for Scheduling; Needs Minor Improvements

This app does well to help you schedule your haircut at any of their locations. I like the map with Wait Times feature and which stylist is a available. It’s easy to navigate.
It does have room for improvement. Would be beneficial if customers could schedule future appointments for a week out and select their preferred stylist. Punch cards is old school. How about the system tracking the number of appointments you’ve checked-in for and also having an in-app tracking on the account level? It would reduce the amount of times I forget to carry their punch card each time.

  • You need this app!💇🏽‍♂️

I personally have never had a problem with this app. It makes it easy fit a haircut into your schedule especially if you have a ⭐️Favorite Stylist. It gives you a estimated time of availability so you just check in online and it gives you a time to be there. They even have a option to give you updates if time changes or when you’re up next. When you get there just check in on the kiosk and they’ll have the wait list on a tv monitor. 5-Star IMO ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭

  • Locked doors, empty stores, no notice

I spent 20 minutes waiting outside a store this morning, knowing that the first 5 minutes before the app takes folks can get you in sooner. The doors remained locked. At 5 past the hour, the store was “at capacity” in the app. A deceitful technique. Iterated but still in need of a haircut, I picked another location up the road that was open …. According to the app. I drove over 10 minutes down the road having been added to the waitlist.

Upon arrival, I found locked doors, no lights, and people waiting in the parking lot. False advertising and wasting people’s time. Twice bitten. BTW, the folks who work here are always great. This is purely a poorly run business model that can’t keep good folks happy. Enjoy the rent contracts for locations with empty chairs.

  • Needs some work but very handy.

Would like my place in line to hold longer. I drive about a half hour to my location and I like to check in before I leave. If my name gets called before I get there it totally kicks me out of line. This all leads me to check in when Im closer to the store while I’m driving. NOT SAFE!

My suggestion is to let someone who is not there roll to the next in line a couple times before they are kicked out.

  • It’s pretty decent tbh

I love sports clips a lot it’s one of my favorite barbers. The app just sometimes tells you that there’s no wait or tells you that there’s a long wait and then you go into the store and it may not be accurate but it’s still great because then I can check and see how long the wait time if the day is all booked up and I don’t have to specifically call the number which takes a little bit more effort. Also, I like being able to check in without even entering the store yet and not to mention seeing if my specific favorite barber is even working that day he tells you everybody that’s gonna be on shift
