Locked doors, empty stores, no notice
I spent 20 minutes waiting outside a store this morning, knowing that the first 5 minutes before the app takes folks can get you in sooner. The doors remained locked. At 5 past the hour, the store was “at capacity” in the app. A deceitful technique. Iterated but still in need of a haircut, I picked another location up the road that was open …. According to the app. I drove over 10 minutes down the road having been added to the waitlist.
Upon arrival, I found locked doors, no lights, and people waiting in the parking lot. False advertising and wasting people’s time. Twice bitten. BTW, the folks who work here are always great. This is purely a poorly run business model that can’t keep good folks happy. Enjoy the rent contracts for locations with empty chairs.

Needs some work but very handy.
Would like my place in line to hold longer. I drive about a half hour to my location and I like to check in before I leave. If my name gets called before I get there it totally kicks me out of line. This all leads me to check in when Im closer to the store while I’m driving. NOT SAFE!
My suggestion is to let someone who is not there roll to the next in line a couple times before they are kicked out.

It’s pretty decent tbh
I love sports clips a lot it’s one of my favorite barbers. The app just sometimes tells you that there’s no wait or tells you that there’s a long wait and then you go into the store and it may not be accurate but it’s still great because then I can check and see how long the wait time if the day is all booked up and I don’t have to specifically call the number which takes a little bit more effort. Also, I like being able to check in without even entering the store yet and not to mention seeing if my specific favorite barber is even working that day he tells you everybody that’s gonna be on shift

Good and Bad points
The good stuff. It’s convenient and really easy to use. I really like that can see the wait times at the shops around me. Booking reservations is super easy but the app assumes you can walk right in if they’re not busy. 1) It would be good for client and shop if you could tell them when you’ll be there whether it’s 20 mins or an hour. 2) It should keep a log of past appts and also the stylist who cut your hair. You’re often told who you prefer, but most people can’t remember. The app keeps me coming back because it’s convenient for short notice appts. It needs the improvements to go from 3 stars to 5.

Better than nothing, but a dumb system overall
What I want is something simple. I want to be able to check in for a specific arrival time later today. The current estimate would put me at the top of the list too early. So I have to wait until other people get on the list and the estimate gets longer. But if I don’t check back at exactly the right time, the list could fill up and have me waiting for over an hour at the time I was to come in, or the entire day could fill up suddenly. That’s an idiotic system. Not everyone can just take what time you give them and drop everything at an arbitrary time to get a haircut. Please add appointment time booking to your app.

Kathy at Fairless Hills sports cuts
I want to let her Manager know that Kathy gave me one of my best haircut 💇♂️! She was so nice and figure it out what type of haircut I really need. i’m so busy at work and other things that I haven’t had time to get one, so I finally did and I lost about 20 pounds of hair lol. all of the other girls that work there also have great customer service they acknowledge any customer come through the front door and being a supervisor it’s very rare that you say good customer service thank you so much

App has big flaws and missed opportunities
Terrible there isn’t a placeholder for stylists breaks. Arrived, checked in, said 2 minute wait and then jumped to 30. When inquired why I was told the stylist had to go on break. They certainly deserve a break but the system should allow a “dummy” appointment to factor into the wait times.
It would be extremely helpful if the app allowed you to select an appointment time for better planning. Could even create a subscription model for “VIP” guests to unlock this feature. Winging it and hoping the wait times are accurate can be a nightmare and in some cases a huge waste of time if you end up having to cancel your slot.

Always a Great Haircut!
From one paying customer to another….it’s worth paying more to come here! Even then the prices are not as bad as other places.
No matter where you find yourself, you can honestly trust Sports Clips to ALWAYS give you a fresh, clean cut!!! I’ve been picky about who cuts my hair for years, but I’ve never had to be picky at SC, they are all rockstars! Honestly…never had a bad haircut from here either and that’s a WIN! Thanks, SC!

Fantastic!!!
I’m giving the app 5 Stars and Sabrina in the Sulphur, LA Store 5 Stars, only because it won’t allow me to give her 10! I use the app each time I go and it’s always been accurate and very user friendly. Sabrina. is definitely my go to stylist. She’s absolutely phenomenal and I would highly recommend anyone to use her. She’s extremely positive, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. She actually makes it a joy to get a haircut and I won’t use anyone else.

Got to go to far!
Great app and fantastic place to get my hair cut. Even though I’m not a big sports fan, it would be nice to listen to something other than basketball and football. Anyway a NASCAR event or commentators discussing the sport could be shown. Boat racing? Anything other than 3 to 5 guys strategizing either football or basketball.
Also maybe I don’t understand the app but you have to get pretty far into the app to find if your stylist is on. Occasionally results in a false appt.
Otherwise it’s a pretty good app.
