A bit sluggish and buggy but great concept
I came across this app after reading about it in a local news article.
While moving through the app, it seemed to take a bit longer than most apps to save, cancel, and/or open a link. I was able to enter some basic info and details but could not get photos to upload. I have never had an issue like that on other apps, so it might be something to work on.
If I made changes to info and did not press save and then tried to upload a photo, the app would just go back to the profiles tab and not save my changes. If I only went in to a profile to upload a photo, it would hang for a few seconds and then a window would appear to center/crop a photo, but no photo would appear. I tried this multiple times with the same results.
I was going to submit a bug report but there is no info in the app or even a link.Show lessxproject421

Content good, interface needs work
Doesn’t fit Xr screen size. Navigation options are up by time and signal icons making very difficult to select. The app icon badge doesn’t switch off after viewing alerts,I have to force quit the app and reopen to get rid of badge.Althalus

I like this app and how it enhances communication if/when a 911 call is needed. I also get local alerts, which is great, but I will get 11 to 15 alerts all stating the same thing. A minor annoyance, but I would love to see that fixed in the future.JK Chicago

We have very little use for tv & Internet and don’t watch news... Smart911 gets us informed on what is useful to our family without all the unnecessary things we don’t want. Our first responders and 911 headquarters have our info through Smart911 in an emergency situation which is convenient and useful to them and us.Show lessChristianBrotherhood

I downloaded this app and yes we are just beginning to use it in our area. While setting up my profile on it I noticed so many issues. Like it won’t allow me to upload an image of myself and it prompts me to invite myself to download the app after I have it downloaded. It wants me to keep location turned on but while it was on it would drain my battery fast and I never got any notifications on what was happening around me. There was even a high speed pursuit that happened and I got no information or warning on it. The app is a failure and needs tons of problems fixed. In regards to not getting notifications about a specific event like a high-speed pursuit, that is at the discretion of safety officials in your community to send out message or not about specific events.Everyone should have this!
I had no problems setting my phone up with the app. I already had it on my iPad. But I forgot my password, they made it very easy for me to change. Easy peasy!nanna3boys

Can’t use this app
During the setup it doesn’t take my address correctly. It keeps putting my apartment number first then a space then the street number. This isn’t how we do addresses in the US. It would only confuse the ambulance driver which is exactly the opposite of my goal. In the end it gives me two options: either “confirm” the incorrect address format that the app creates or delete my apartment number. Again neither option is viable since it would lead to delays when the ambulance arrives. Please delete my account. I don’t need any confusion from your company during an emergency. Reading the other reviews on here, it sounds like you really need to focus on getting all these bugs fixed first and then roll out your marketing. The stakes are too high to deal with a buggy app during a medical emergency.Show lessJPG&rinGO
