I have been with Ellipal from the beginning. Extremely reliable. Keep your seed phrase safe and you will never have an issue. That goes for any wallets, but for me Ellipal is the best.
I am trying to move tokens from ELLIPAL to exchanges but it says my original password is incorrect. Either there is an error on their part or I forgot my password. Either way I need to reset my password and there is no way to do so. Horrible interface

ELLIPAL is a decentralized wallet and does not support the password recovery function. If you forget the password, you can re-import the mnemonic phrase and reset a password.I had issues when I received my Ellipal. The software for my phone did not match the software on my Ellipal. So i did my due diligence and did a complete reformat of my as then added my card then did a reboot on my device 3 times to install, yikes. It works and I’m happy.
I started socking money away on this thing Dec. 2020 and when I wanted to move some out I couldn’t remember my password. I guessed and unknowingly I created another profile when I actually thought I’d logged in. I tried sending money out but received error messages. Now I understand why. In the middle of this process all of the balances disappeared on the assets tab. Literally went blank. So now the page I used to track my balances as they grew in the different coins I owned, now was literally blank. I know I was looking at the right profile too because I could view the balances on another link/tab that showed me a pie chart instead. I know my coins are still there thanks to the blockchain explorer but the mnemonics will only bring up the second “profile” I’d created!! Not the original one with all my money! Customer service is basically non existent. After time on Reddit and speaking with Ellipal’s COMPETITORS customer service I have been led to believe that I must have created a “passphrase” when I initially set it up. I don’t think I did, I don’t think I would do that. Regardless it’s my only hope that I can think of. I will be trying every possible combination of “passphrase” that I can think of. You can restore your account through mnemonics; For more efficient communication, please email your problems to cs@ellipal.com , or contact us at www.ellipal.comI moved everything from my Ledger to the Ellipal. Setup was a breeze! I feel my crypto is much safer since only I know the keys. I wasn’t digging the way Ledger knew my keys and actually sent them to outside agencies. Air gapped is THE way to go if you want the absolute best security.
I’ve reached out to Ellipal to see how I can contact the development team and have not received anything in over 13 hours.
My main concern is that once logged into the mobile app, there’s no way to log out. Should my personal mobile phone get hacked into, anyone can get into the app and transfer my crypto out of my cold wallet. In this day and age with apple having face recognition, why isn’t this built into the app? Why is the logout feature not available? What’s the point of setting up an account password if you can’t log out?
Also, under account management, there’s a button labeled, “delete account” without any safety features! Why is this button there with an account with a positive balance? This is an accident waiting to happen!
Very convenient, safe option for the crypto. The only issue is that the application on the iPhone is a little sluggish. It takes time to update information about transaction amounts and total available Crypto after transaction is completed.
I’ve had this thing for years and I’ve been able to safely store my crypto since. I’m a pretty anxious person, and obviously self custody will always make me more nervous. However, I fully trust this wallet and the development team behind it.
I haven’t had any issue with the wallet itself; mostly the App which can cause issues at times. But, every issue I’ve had the development team has been able to help me out in fixing the issues (though sometimes it can take a couple of days). For me that’s not an issue, because I’m using it as a cold wallet. I’m not attempting to move funds frequently.
I have another cold wallet, which I don’t use because I no longer trust the company or the technology. You will have to put some level of trust into every wallet you buy; but so far they have shown that they are a company that cares about security and their customers.
I was impatient to carry out necessary research but I really wanted to jump on the crypto trading and investment buzz. Unfortunately for me, I invested 75,700 USD worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 214,575 USD within a couple of weeks. But I didn't realize I was dealing with a scam company, until I tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because I could not afford to let it go. So I tried all possible means to make sure I recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum were a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptography funds with the help of RemotePundit So I file a report on RemotePundit @ Gmail and he was able to help me get back all my lost funds withing 2 weeks I feel indebted to him. Apart from trying to express my gratitude to them once again using this medium, I will recommend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary options forex, investment and any other form of online scam to reach out to RemotePundit @ gmail.
