I love using beam. It’s convenient and affordable. The only thing I wish they had on the app is a way to have multiple cards saved instead of just one. Which will allow users to decide which card they wish to use to pay for post-ride.

Beware of this company - they trick you
I signed up for a weekly pass while in Hobart. But unless you cancel the payment, they keep charging you every week!!!!
The weekly payment doesn’t show up anywhere in their app either, only on your bank statement. They also make it difficult to find where to cancel your payment. I don’t believe this is an accident but deliberately designed this way.
Most people use beam as tourists so a weekly pass would be expected to be 1 payment not a payment forever more.
I am so disappointed in the company that they try and take money from people for nothing.

Wow! Cut my commute to half!
So easy to get on and go, so convenient and (besides crap Malaysian pavements) it was an enjoyable ride. Can't believe it got me up Jalan Maarof 😅🧗♀️

I got rejected of my $1 unsatisfied refund asking. I was about to clash from unexpected slow down. Because of wrong gps detection. I’m still so angry. The cs staff treated as a block customer. The account deletion doesn’t work well. It will never happen again I use this service.
Pricey rates
The bikes are there, but their rates are quite pricey in Brisbane. Many cities have similar services as a fraction of the cost for a typical 30-40 min commute.
Just the most fun way to see the city
It is my husband an I’s first time to Adelaide. We came on a holiday and we saw people riding these scooters. Of course we had to try and this has been honestly the most fun thing I have done in a long time! We have been able to see like 5 times as much of the city than we thought we would have been able to. Thank you so much!
