Really good… but a little buggy
Overall, I love InVintory, and I use it constantly. It’s a great app, and they’re constantly improving it, so it does keep getting better. That said, I happen to use the Deliveries function a great deal - tracking en primeur orders, for example - and that function, in particular, is a mess (on the iPad version, it’s been “under construction” for months… and months… and months). Seeing info about what is waiting to be delivered - price paid, date purchased, etc. - is klugey and unreliable. And it’s frustrating that linking between vintage info, including reviews, and bottle info (re already-owned wines) is sometimes one-directional and therefore requires a separate search in “Search Wines.” Still, with high expectations that they will eventually get it all “finished,” I am confident that it is the best wine cellar app on the market bar none. And I do love the many improvements they keep making.
BTW, a small simple additional improvement would be to add a “Format” option under Analytics, so you can look through your collection by sizes if you’re planning an occasion and thinking you want the perfect magnum or d-mag or 6L for the event.Show lesscMoBridgeMan

Thank you for your patience with us on rebuilding this feature. Regarding adding Format to analytics, I will pass that request along to the team! In the meantime, you can filter your collection on bottle size to get this list or ask the AI wine assistant Vincent to list all your larger format bottles.A few UX refinements and it’s a perfect app
It took me about an hour to create five cellars and scan in around 80 bottles. Of the 80 bottles, maybe 5 weren’t already in the database and had to be submitted for review to be added. That took around a day and I got an email they were available for selection. Really, really pleased with the responsiveness of the developer. I emailed about an inconsistency between two screens and got a reply asking for screenshot examples. Once I sent that, I got another reply. I’m convinced they’ll be big. The only thing missing from a true inventory management perspective are features like inventory checks and cycle counts to check for bottles that were consumed but not updated in the database. I love this app. I have about 200 bottles in a wine cellar. Before the app, it was hard to know which bottles I had or where they were. After scanning in all of the bottles (bit time consuming but totally worth it), now I can quickly see my inventory on my phone and pick out the perfect wine for a meal. It also allows you to customize your cellar by the number of rows and columns on each wall, and the shape of each compartment. Makes it super easy to locate the bottle you’re looking for with a graphical display of the wine storage area. it takes a little time to get used to using the app, but now I couldn’t do without it!Show lesspjs😎

Horrendous UX. The image recognition works 10% of the time. The wine list “importer” is a scam. There is no auto-import, instead it’s a way to collect your email so they can “curate” your list, which is something they tell you only after you burn time on the exercise.
You should be able to click on a shelf and add a wine in real time, but instead, you have to add it to your inventory first. What a horrible waste of time and shows literally zero thought was put into this app.
They’re definition of rows and columns is incorrect when you set up your fridge. Rows are horizontal and columns are vertical…this is literally 101 stuff.
You’re also unable to add bottles from the web app. A simple type to search would be very simple to add
There’s no way the number of good reviews they have is real, especially when you compare their number to those of their direct competitors (10x the number of reviews, that’s suspicious).
I hope no one else gets scammed and wastes an evening on this waste of digital space.Show lessDenverdenver123

If you are willing to provide that would be much appreciated. - We're sorry to hear the image recognition rate was so low on the wines you tried. On average, we have a much higher rate of efficacy, however we do outsource that technology to a 3rd party provider and are actively working on finding a new provider here. - The import tool cannot be automated as many spreadsheets uploaded require human intervention to clean up. We collect your email during the original sign up process in order to communicate with you for things like when your import is complete. We do not curate or personalize any recommendations. You have the option to opt out of marketing emails. - This is the first time we have heard the request to add new wines into a bottle location. While that is currently available on the iPad app, that feedback has now been passed along to our product team to implement across the board. Thank you. - Not sure where the confusion around rows and columns is coming from. The rows are horizontal and columns are vertical. - You can easily add bottles from the web app. Just navigate to the top right corner and type in the search bar. - All of our reviews are organic. I’ve been using this app for a while, and it keeps getting better and better truly is the most normal intuitive program to use. I finally gave in and bought the premium because the free version was so fantastic. The premium version even better bring intuitive and easy to cross link with other wine, database programs to give them more information on a vintage. iPad only in landscape
It is nice to finally have an iPad app but the forced landscape mode is unfortunate. I have an iPad mounted beside my cooler but can only fit in portrait mode. Unfortunately, the app now only works in landscape.arc-f

Amazing
I don’t normally write reviews. When we were moving and I had to transport my wine cellar from one house to the new house and it seemed like the perfect time to once again tried to use an app to keep my wines organized. I carefully read reviews of all of the different options before deciding on InVintory. I made a great choice and have fallen in love with the app. After carefully reviewing so many other options I can assure you this is the right one. So many good things about this program. The ability to configure your wine cellar to match your physical cellar is fantastic. I begin thinking the app would help me keep track of my wine, I have now learned that the app is perfect when you are making decisions about a perfect wine for any event or special occasion. The ability to search and find every kind of wine in your cellar is critical. This app solves one of the biggest problems we have all encountered, when you first put the wine into the cellar everything is neatly organized. As you randomly pull bottles from different spots you suddenly have new spots available in random positions. The app makes it possible to replace those empty spots with bottles and still find the wine that you were looking for. A couple of the features are a little bit clunky to use but in the end it solves every problem I’ve ever encountered. Finally, I was able to use the app to get insurance coverage for my entire wine collection.. I am happy a customer for life.Show lessMmeejj
