  • Hormone testing is great, app is terrible

    Never had an issue with the hormone testing but the app NEVER works. So glitchy and forever seeing the wheel of death. The only saving grace which has stopped me going to another brand is that I can read the hormone levels on the tester so I don’t have to rely on the app but seeing as everything is SO expensive I would have expected more

  • Terrible App - Focused on Obnoxious Marketing

    It’s a great concept that could help so many women, but unfortunately this device and Mira products as a whole are all centered around in-your-face marketing. The app doesn’t have ANY user friendly functionality. There are incessant notifications about sales and products that get in the way of entering data and seeing your device data in a useful way. The fat that the sync button and essential features aren’t easily available in the main page of the app is INFURIATING. The wands for the device are outrageously priced and errors are extremely common (which waste the expensive wands). Tried to return to using this device after a year hiatus and now I remember why I quit. Will be selling and switching to Inito deviceand using my tried and true ClearBlue monitor in the meantime. Too bad Mira doesn’t listen to their customers (there’s an entire FB page of similar complaints) or truly care about their customers needs.

  • The only way to track hormones daily

    I purchased this because I suspected a hormone imbalance since coming off desogestrel. It has been very helpful in showing what is going on with my cycle and so far has confirmed that I appear to be suffering with low progesterone in the luteal phase. It is an expensive device (particularly if you use it for several months) and people should be mindful that it doesn’t guarantee pregnancy. However, if you suspect you have a hormone imbalance it is very valuable to be able to measure hormones daily. Female cycles change throughout the month so getting a one off snapshot from a blood test often isn’t very helpful. Getting a consultation to explain your results is another added expense. It would be helpful if the app contained more information and examples regarding cycles and results. For example, I have noticed my hormones sometimes spike up and down from day to day and I would like to know if this is normal. All in all I would recommend.

  • Miscarriage Error

    I have tried to reach customer support for technical issues related to accurately track gestational weeks. After receiving no resolution and a mere hand waiving of an acknowledgement of receipt of the initial request, I no longer needed this resolution because I miscarried. I then responded to communicate a significant technical bug that does not reset the gestational count on the main page. Despite indicating that I miscarried, and fully confirming that I was requesting to end the pregnancy on the app. I still have yet to receive a response with any indication that this glaring bug matters to anyone at Mira. You’d expect a swift response and at least acknowledgement of how poorly such an issue would be received for someone going through a difficult time and the persisting influence of hormones. I expected more from Mira and was trying to remain optimistic to jump back in to gathering data and I can’t even get to the shop page to order more wands because the app continues to populate a home page with a week of gestation counter. I hope you can identify and fix the issue before this upsets another person experiencing a pregnancy loss decides to try to use this app to move forward with hope and optimism - only to be reminded of the week the embryo/fetus would be if it was still growing inside them.

    Works perfectly but wish the wands are not that expensive. Gotta think before restocking plus the 15 days shipping to Canada is long.

  • Want it to be better

    I want the Mira system to work well, it has so much potential. I’m a couple months into using Mira and the first month was really a little rocky, with my values all over the place in the beginning and the app not predicting the right ovulation dates, although it smoothed out in the end.

    My real issue though is the app experience - as other reviewers have mentioned, the double sign up experience is confusing, and then once in, the app is so cluttered and hard to find information. After paying $200+ for the device and the wands, the app feels like they are just constantly trying to sell you more, instead of focusing on the information that you care about. The articles and blogs are confusing to navigate around in the app and you really have to go digging to find the relevant information to understand your hormone data. Lastly, the way the buttons are written and all the illustrations of pregnant women are irritating. While I understand many are trying to get pregnant using Mira, as someone who has TTC for awhile, they feel condescending & not what I want to see.

  • Good concept but expensive and wasteful wands and an annoying bug

    If there is any interruption when connecting to the analyser after testing, it then won’t transfer test results. Tried restarting analyser and app, and no, that’s it for the day it just won’t transfer the data and it has to be inputted manually. Please fix this bug. Otherwise the user experience is good, I just hate the idea of throwing out all of the plastic and microchips on each wand.

In the future, we suggest you turn on the Analyzer by pushing its button, open the Mira App and make sure the Analyzer and App are connected before each test (inserting the test wand into the analyzer). You should see a yellow or green dot on the Analyzer icon on the right bottom of the Home page.   • Needs improvements and better explanations

    This requires a lot of user interpretation of data. The chart it creates is misleading. It has a green ovulation circle however the app is actually unable to determine ovulation day and confirm. The green circle for everyone goes on the peak lh value which is very misleading. Lh surge triggers ovulation but does not guarantee ovulation and ovulation typically occurs 12-36 hours but up to 48 hours after the start of the lh surge. There is no software integration for bbt. You have to manually enter and even then it is not able to actually analyze that data to determine ovulation window nor does it chart bbt in a clear way. It is better to use other apps to analyze bbt. More and more it is also missing people’s lh peaks. On top of that the predictions are off. It really goes off of past cycles and not the data you are currently collecting to make it’s guesses. Without the Facebook group and doing my own research I would have been lost. For the cost of the analyzer and wands it is sad how much interpretation needs to be done by the user.

    Hi there, we are sorry about your experience. We will try to give you as much clarity as possible. At the beginning of a cycle, Mira automatically predicts your upcoming ovulation day based on the cycle length, period dates, and the test results of the previous cycles. Then, the APP will adjust the predicted ovulation day according to the tests of your current cycle. When a high enough LH peak could be detected, the day with an LH peak will be marked as your ovulation day. Once you get a high enough LH peak, there is also a small green dot shows up on the cycle analysis interface. Generally, when the LH surges, ovulation may happen in 24-36 hours. When the LH reaches its peak, ovulation may happen in 12-24 hours. However, the exact ovulation time varies from person to person. Therefore, Mira marks the day of the LH peak as the ovulation day. And the BBT logged in App is only for record currently. Sorry for any inconvenience. We will also resend your feedback to relevant teams. Still, we will keep working on improving Mira in the future.   • Constantly Being Logged Out

    We have a main account and a partner account.

    The main account is logged in on ONE device and partner account is logged in on a separate device, once.

    Yet both accounts keep being logged out when relaunching the app.

    It might not be today, but give it a day or so and it’s logged out.

    Sort it out. It is beyond annoying.

  • PCOS - 23 weeks pregnant

    After trying to regular ovulation sticks and nothing showing up due to my low hormone levels, I was so delighted to spot my “surge” via the Mira app. It took some months to get used to my cycle which was very irregular but I honestly credit this amazing technology with helping us get pregnant.

    For anyone unsure about their cycles or who doesn’t look like they are ovulating on regular sticks this is definitely worth a go.

    One thing I would say is I tried the more basic sticks first, I wouldn’t bother with those. Just go for the top level sticks which show more hormones. They are the ones that helped us and we ended up wasting money on the regular ones and then not using them.

    Currently 23-weeks pregnant with our first baby, praying everything continues well but already in a position we weren’t sure we would be. Thank you team Mira!
