  • How can I finish reading an article when an ad pops up 5s whenever I open the article??

Very frustrating when I just want to read an article, and a Valentine’s Day Enter to Win keeps popping up? Even closing the article and reopening doesn’t help at all. Can’t the app understand that I don’t want to enter this prize and simply not show it ever again?? And there’s no button to close this enter to win thing while staying in the article, isn’t that absurd???
[Update: I found the button to close the ad later, it worked but it did not stand out on first sight. I suggest you change the color or make it bugger so it is more user friendly.]

  • Ovulation prediction is not accurate

I have been tracking using two different methods and apps and confirmed my LH surge was yesterday. Today when I tested the Mira app failed to recognize my surge from yesterday and pushed my fertile cycle back three days and added three additional testing days. This isn’t accurate and is incredibly frustrating. I appreciate seeing my LH levels but currently I do not see how this is more useful than using ovulation predictor strips. We were hoping if we are blessed with a child to use this for natural family planning but the algorithm is clearly so very off regarding precautions of fertile days I would use it for that either.

  • Temperature

I think that when you log temperature it should also appear on the curve graph. That would add an extra star.
  • Makes NFP Easy

I’ve used this product for almost a year, and I really love it. Although there are a bunch of ways to track your cycle, I love that Mira doesn’t require me to guess on where my body is at in my cycle (like with tracking mucus, or with temperature tracking when sick or not having a great night sleep). Not knocking those that prefer other methods, but I love tracking my LH and estrogen levels (with the new wands).

I also really love their customer support. Any time I’ve had an issue, they are quick to respond and do everything possible to fix the issue. I’m so excited to have this product, which is a great update to ClearBlue.

NFP note: for those of you who are looking to use this for NFP. It is under testing to be officially used as an alternate to ClearBlue for the Marquette Method. My coach was willing to work with us using this method during pre-Cana. Definitely recommend.

The only downside I have for this product is that it’s expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for.

  • App won’t work

I am so frustrated. I used to love Mira, but since the app update, it will not let me get past the initial 4 steps (name, year of birth, last period, etc) it just freezes. I paid a good amount of money for this program between the analyzer and the replacement wands. I emailed Mira support for help, and all I received back was an automated email saying they have a high volume of emails and they’ll get back to me eventually. I rely on Mira for NFP methods and this is so beyond frustrating. I’m going to start looking for other options.

  • Trying to Avoid Pregnancy

I like that the app asks you right away what your intentions for using the product are: TTC or NOT. I have been using this product for around six months now and I do think that it’s helped me to understand by cycle more. It provides much clearer and numerical data, not just a “happy face” or a “sad face” as with other LH kits. Successfully not pregnant! I do wish the app would allow a graphical tracking of BBT and cervical mucus, if not for all the “symptoms” that the app allows you to track day by day. It seems silly to use multiple apps to track this info - but currently that is what I am doing. Maybe in a future update to Mira I won’t have to toggle between apps.

  • Love/Hate relationship

I have a love/hate relationship with Mira. First of all, I absolutely LOVE the device. I see others have had issues with their unit, but I have had mine for going on 9 months and have never had a problem with the analyzer. I think it’s a fantastic little machine even though it’s rather over priced. (I’ve found other product that do the same thing for less than half the cost). At the moment I only use the LH test wands, so I have no feedback on the new wands.
What I HATE is the app which has a poor design and is not very intuitive at all. It is not visually appealing and in fact rather confusing. For example, basal body temperature is very important when TTC. You can log it manually on this app, but it doesn’t show up on the graph or have any effect on the prediction. So you would then have to chart your BBT separately to see the spike. Same goes for cervical mucus. So I end up using a completely different app to chart those important things and have to toggle back and forth to see how they compare to my LH from this app. It would be nice if this app did everything and logged it in a visually appealing and easy to understand manner.

  • Effective

Brought this after tttc for about 6 months. I didn’t see any results at first because I was not testing on the recommended days the app suggested. I did that because the testing wands hits my pockets kinda hard (meaning their expensive) so to save on testing wands I would use them the week of ovulation. This worked for me and I got pregnant in two months of using Mira. Unfortunately we experienced a loss of that pregnancy. Now I’m going to test on the recommended days the app suggests and see what happens. I do have times when one or two of my testing wand don’t register correctly and I have to try again and again until the count down appears. Other than that Mira seems to work for me. I also purchased the Mira Plus and will do an update on that as well soon. Good luck ladies!!!

  • Do not buy

the devices works , the app doesn’t track your levels, you don’t know when to test, if you contact support they reply with the same. Answer over and over. the return policy is completely fake no one answeres don’t waste your money. 20 strips Wasted so far.
  • The new app is terrible

I loved the app and device up until they updated the app recently. Now it’s awful! It’s really hard to understand even when it’s working but mine is now so glitchy It completely missed the fertile window which is the whole point of having it in the first place.
Please do something urgently about the app Mira or this will have been a total waste of money.
