  • Glitchy calendar software

It’s a shame to write a one star review for this site.
Overall they’ve actually done a good job with the new layout and app.
However, I have had software issues from the very get go, firstly the app never recognised me as a campsite owner and only gave me the guest version of the app. The bigger issue though is that the application keeps creating additional spaces in my calendar where previously it’s been blocked. This has led to guest arriving to our site on more than one occasion when we have been closed for a privet function. Completely embarrassing and frustrating for all party’s involved.
There idea of customer service mostly comprises of an ‘Ai Alpaca’ and I must say is very very frustrating when you have a genuine issue.
I really hope they can get a few of these issues sorted as it is almost a very very good app.

  • Unprofessional services

I booked a place few days ago but I received a call from Host saying that they do not have availability for this date after few days/ a week so I would advice not to make plans with this Hipcamp as they will let you down in the last second which make it all difficult to book another place due to less time you are having for your date so do not trust this Hipcamp, I would have give 0 star if I could.

  • We double boondocked with our friends at The Bend!

This was our second stay at The Bend and this time we brought our neighbors. The owners were so nice to let us both bring our campers to put at The Bend, even though our neighbors booked The Fern Gully. They owners don’t mind generators. Our kids had such an amazing time floating down the river! Even though it rained the first night and made the water muddy, it was still nice! The owner has newly installed a gravel drive down to the Bend and the Fern Gully (where you put the rafts in the river) and to a very cool cabin they are building. Super easy to get in and out of the Bend pulling a travel trailer camper. Walk 100 yards down the river from Fern Gully and you’ll see ropes leading down to where there’s a hook in a rock that you can tie off to to float in place. It takes about 35 minute to float all the way down to the Bend. It’s about a 6 minute walk carrying rafts to put back in. The owner’s were incredibly nice and hospitable! Can’t wait to come back

  • Arabian Nights Yurt Stay

We had such a great time during our stay. I had even pre-booked a birthday cake and some decorations. They made a home made Birthday Cake. The people were just lovely and did everything they could to make us comfortable and take care of our needs . This was my first time glamping. We usually rough it in our own tent . I don’t know if I ever want to do that again. Now I am spoiled . The details were amazing and details matter. I will say the tents are a little close to the house, but I am really glad they were. A big breakfast every morning at a big family table getting to know our camp mates . 3 tents close together with different themes. We shared our fire, hot tubs and food . We were right in the river and we played in it and really loved it . I can’t wait to go back

  • Hidden gem!

It was absolutely incredible! They were super kind! The hosts invited my 12 year old son to hold two different sets of puppies, hand feed the ducks and goats. There is a swing set, small zip line, and there’s even an ice cream parlour where they make their own cones! This is a must stop! Highly recommend visiting this marvel of a farm!

  • Default settings collect too much info.

Overly difficult to delete and modify personal settings. Too much fishing for more personal information. Feels like a scam. Wish I booked elsewhere.
  • Big Rock Eco Resort

Never have I ever…been welcomed so amazingly by a camp host. Jason went above and beyond to assure our stay a great experience! He is very passionate and knowledgeable about his many projects and his vision for his property. Offered us a tour of both his accommodations and the lake. I would definitely recommend this property!
