Spam notifications
App is slow, feels like it’s loading everything from a website. Worst part is the unsolicited spam you receive in form of push notifications: expect to see offers to order thanksgiving pies, smoothies, lasagna, flip flops and whatever else is on sale. There’s no way to control what notifications you actually receive (you know, like grown up modern apps do and separate marketing spam from utility notifications when your order is ready for example), so I had to mute all pushes. Garbage behavior, garbage app experience. One star until there’s a setting to change notification types.

App has come a long way
Positives:
Like the fact that members can now accrue points online. Could have had lots of money in points of the original version let members get points for purchases like in store (now it does).
Like the ability to re-add past orders to cart.
Feedback:
Need ability to add/edit tip (up and down) after delivery so that it’s commensurate with the exceptional shopper service or subpar service.
The hot bar menu could definitely use more improvement as it never never shows all the items that are truly available in store, just the “standard” stuff.
You used to be able to leave comments on each item for example “sauce on side”. At hot bar or “ripe banana”. I could see how this probably was overwhelming for the shoppers so I get the removal albeit helpful for customers.
Also bring back the complimentary items! That was a sweet touch that set you all apart. It was likely due to the online ordering program being newly implemented. It definitely was an incentive that I always looked forward to.

Terrible app
Erewhon is great but this app is awful. The order cut off time for smoothies is 8:30… invariably, anytime I order a smoothie in the early evening (before 8:30) it pushes the order to the next day. And then it won’t let me cancel, and I try to contact the store but they don’t get back to me. For the amount of money those smoothies cost, it’s pretty annoying that the order goes in wrong so often and there’s no way to remedy the situation. There’s always such a long line to order in store, it’s way more convenient to order on the app first, but with situation arising so often, using this app has actually become pretty annoying and inconvenient.

Needs improvements
Everything takes too long to load, images of items glitch often and the app is kinda hard to navigate.
You can’t really find some stuff in categories and you have to manually search for the brand, which i don’t like to do because i like seeing other options of the same thing from other brands. Just please make it smoother to work with.

Several issues
The app is set up to allow a primary member and a co member. Both of which have phone numbers attached. The primary member made an order and it charged my card connected to me. Then days later I put in a delivery and had my number corrected. They contacted the primary member about the order and failed to contact me when she said it was my order. Will not be ordering through the app again.

Been a Erewhon member for 1 year+ here’s my review
Doesn’t let us edit the number on account so they can contact the correct number when preparing a order…For the first year we didn’t get our reward points (10$ for every 100$ spent) on our online orders that were 100$+ until they finally fixed it after contacting them twice. Also if you don’t tip good enough the people preparing your order will ignore your text to change something in the order😂 They keep changing the app but aren't fixing the things that need fixed instead adding stuff that makes it worse

Needs an upgrade
App is easy to navigate but impossible to place an order. Selecting a location, editing an order are all impossible on the App because the system doesn’t reflect any changes made! So frustrating. With the amount of money it costs to shop here, you’d think the App would be functional- but it’s not.
Double charges with unnecessary holds
While aesthetically appealing… Unless you want to be doubly charged (watch your cc) with a temporary double charge hold…I cannot recommend the APP. Happened to my card twice. I host events and my grocery bill might be $ or $$$$. Not going to order largely through the APP for this reason. I love the food at Erewhon but their merchant services company is taking advantage of the owners/investors. Likely they know nothing about the issue. In addition, food order for breakfast might be immediately ready and coffee may take another 30 minutes. In addition, app shows a photo of croissant breakfast sandwich at $9.50…when it is $3.00 just for 1 croissant bringing the total higher. Love Erewhon! Spend more time listening to customers and you’ll make another billion.

Needs Inprovement
Love Erewhon and the convenience of shopping via the app for pickup and delivery. The app has come a long way but much room for improvement:
1) The app needs to sync with real time inventory. Too many times I’m ordering items that are out stock. Half of my order they text me that items are out of stock which defeated the purpose of me placing an order if I’d known most of it was out of stock to begin with. My last order I needed 2 cases of water in which only 6 bottles were in stock. Not helpful. I had to cancel the order, call a different location to ensure availability then pickup the following day having to fit into my schedule.
2) the app needs the ability to leave notes. It used to be on the previous app. I’ve had cafe requests like “well done” or produce requests like “ripe” that was a nice to add. Not a deal breaker however.
3) lastly the app needs the same technology as other food and grocery delivery apps that allow you to edit tip upon delivery. I’ve had shoppers that were really helpful and would’ve liked to go back and tip more. I’ve had shoppers that were curt and didn’t communicate timely or effectively and shoppers that outright messed up orders and would’ve lived to adjust tip accordingly.
I hope the developers read this.
Thanks!

Best Service.
I live in Florida, we ordered about 100 dollars of spices, glass containers, pasta sauce, peanut butter, and 2 awesome hot sauces, sugar pecans! Yum! The chocolate covered cashews glass were broken:( We contacted them, we sent a photo, and right away a new product came. I am sharing this great company with my co-workers.
