Chews Battery, Then Spits It Out & Buries It
All I want is to know when to go looking for a dead rat before it starts to stink unbearably.
Traps are fabbo. App isn’t.

Hi there, we have made some recent changes to the app, including a large update, that solves a bunch of different issues, including the need for Location settings which will have been what was causing the power to be drained. Let us know how you get on! - Thomas

Useless app and associated information

Hi there, if you wish to purchase a counter rather than the Chirp we do still have that option, if you prefer - Thomas
Not helpful

Hi there, we have made some recent changes to the app, including a large update, that solves a bunch of different issues, including the need for Location settings. Please note that Chirp will auto sync with your phone if it has a kill to report but if not, it can be synced manually by shaking it. Let us know how you get on! - Thomas
Love Good Nature but app needs work

Terrible support
Response from developer
Hi, we appreciate you taking the time to post a review of your experience with Chirp, and share your suggestions on an update that would improve your experience with the Chirp App. I’m sorry you weren’t happy with the initial response you received from our customer care team, apologies if we misunderstood your feedback. We’d love to learn more about what you are experiencing as it’s not something we have encountered. Just as a double check that we are on the same page - dead rats/mice do not remain in the trap once it has been triggered. They fall to the ground and are often scavenged by other rats in the roof space (or other predators such as cats and birds of prey if the trap is outside) which is why we created Chirp, to do the counting for you. If you’re happy for us to work with you further to ensure your trap and Chirp are working as they should please call us on +1800 317 466 or email hello@goodnature.com.au so we can resolve the mystery! Look forward to hearing from you, Ann.
Nice app, but battery sucker
Kill count a nice idea. Helps me to know which area of the farm I need to go to to service.
Response from developer
Thanks for sharing your experience with Chirp. I’m so pleased to hear it’s a helpful tool for pest control on the farm. Depending on the type of smartphone you have, you may need to enable the Goodnature Chirp App to have location services on, as you’ve mentioned, to collect kill data. As this is a phone setting rather than a Chirp setting I’m afraid we can’t change it, however, a work around is to turn the location settings off and only enable them when you want to check the traps. Hope this helps. Thanks, Ann
