Reviews of Baby Tracker by Nara

  • Simplicity at its finest

With my first baby, I downloaded so many different apps to track certain things. I only wanted to track a handful of things and not literally every second of every day with my baby and every single app before Nara Baby gave me way too much. I would get overwhelmed and I would stop using them.

Then with my second, I found Nara Baby and I was slightly bummed that I did not know about it with my first. This app is beautifully made, looks super simple, and quite literally is simple. I was able to customize for the two items I wanted to track and I do not get overwhelmed with this app. There have been times where I have even added in my own stuff to track and the way this app goes about organizing and allowing moms and dads to use it how they want is what makes this app worth literally everything.

Thanks for creating such an easy to use and a simple app for parents!
  • I Love tracking my Daughter’s routine

I love tracking my daughters routine from Diaper changes, sleeping or even for me while I pump and the amount of how much from each side. I do love tracking her feedings as well and it letting me know my last side she fed from only reason it lost a star from me is because I feel the time should start at the end of each feeding to let me know how long it’s been since she’s had a full belly. But it’s easy to calculate. This app helps me so much in knowing her routine it’s a real life, life saver. I didn’t use it the second she got out of the hospital just because I was adjusting to her schedule myself the first 2 weeks and not on my phone as much or thought I had time but it’s all quick access to jump on the app and start a timer. My daughter is 5 months and we’ve been using this app since she was 1 month. It’s great to look back on how each day went and differed from then to now in the graph they provide. They even let you know if you’re baby is on the right track with measurements as in height, weight, head circumference. Also can track immunizations, vitamins & routines as in bath time or the outdoors. You can even track mommas meals and water intake in sleep !
  • An especially useful app for an especially demanding need!

I’m not even one for being on my phone much, but I’ve got to say it: the convenience and utility offered by Nara, being able to glance at timers and a calendar for a quick visual overview of where your baby is at, is so incredibly helpful by taking the stress out of having to otherwise keep track of everything manually in your head, while still having all of life’s other demands on your plate. Multiple caretakers also benefit greatly: my wife and I, even grandma for example; anyone added to the app can mark changes, feedings, naps, and more, while anyone with their phone can also see the updates in real time. It makes coordination so much easier. Lastly, you can see from the calendar view and other metrics how your baby grows and changes over time, to include their natural rhythms, when & how often they’re hungry, how & when they need naps and sleep, etc., to the degree that you can easily predict what needs are coming up next and how to fold them into your plans.

TL;DR: this app greatly makes light the work of a parent’s job in scheduling and timekeeping for their baby. Eventually you’ll outgrow the need for it, but in the demanding early days especially, it is so massively handy and a habit worth investing the time into using!

    Developer Response

We truly appreciate your detailed feedback and are glad to hear how the app has helped to streamline and simplify the demanding task of parenting in those early days! Your insights on the convenience and utility provided by the app for caregivers are invaluable.
