Wonderful

Only been using it for a week so yet to comment on the long-term features, but so far it is a total joy to use. It’s incredibly simple!
Only comment would be a faster way to adjust weight/reps during a workout.

Sometimes a weight feels easy and it’s a (slight) pain to increase the recorded rep count if I squeeze in an extra couple of reps for example.

The simplicity is the app’s greatest part

I’ve looked, for what seemed forever, to find an app to help me track my workouts. I’m not someone that spends all their free time in the gym. But, I want the time spent there to be productive. So I needed/wanted a simple, yet effective, app to assist me. This app is all that. The ability to track and manage workouts is so simple and straightforward. There are many different exercise choices and different equipment choices. Even with all these options it is still simply the best app for an uncomplicated and easy way to track my progress that I am beyond pleased and so incredibly thankful that I came across this. Kudos to the creator of the app. I’d like to send my personal thanks to the developer of this. Keep up the great work!!!

Massive Potential

I believe I've tried most apps out there and this one has the best UI by far and incredible value for money.
However, I'm looking for a standalone app to use on my Apple Watch and while this one works great, it'll be a huge help to see a GIF of the exercise as I'm a beginner at using certain gym equipment.

Best overall

This is my second review of this app ive been using it for years now, at first it was complicated.
Now I couldn’t go to the gym without it. Even though its a one time life payment. The development keeps coming with no extra hidden payments, recently Advanced training systems have been added ie drop sets.
I have definitely had my moneys worth i hope more ATS become available or tracking reps to fail, tracking eccentric only or single side isolation, TUT count down, GVT…. I know i can do most of this with the notes or in my head just thought id put it out there.

Great app once you have everything setup

Took a few minutes to learn the UI and features but once I did I really started to enjoy this app. I came from using Strong and wanted an app under active development and this delivered. The import of strong data worked very well. Was only a couple exercises I had to adjust. The watch app is amazing as well. I almost never need to go to my phone during a workout now.

Best weight training app I’ve used!

This app allows me to record my workouts extremely easily. I was able to setup different workout routines and switch between them when necessary. Editing reps and sets during workouts is simple. The timer, weight, and auto advance options are amazing! I really love this app and like that it is constantly being updated. The two month free trial was the right amount of time to really test it out and get me hooked. Keep up the great work!

Rubbish

I paid good money for this app and now all my workouts and progress has been 100% wiped.

Hi there! There is a bug that if you delete an active workout plan your data gets hidden. Just add a new workout plan and all your data should be visible again. Just what I was looking for!

Apart from being on the expensive end for the lifetime (I’d rather pay upfront as a one-off payment), this app is incredible. A great alternative to my usual StrongLifts app.

- Insanely simple
- Auto Progression
- Best support for AMRAP and progressive overload I have seen
- Clean look

I like the freedom of building my own workouts ,around the 5x5 base, with the progression being automated. This app performs that perfectly, and may even be of use as a personal training tool as I can send my clients workouts I have created. Perhaps a social page would be useful in the future to see other’s progress?

Keep updating this app! Great work from a one man development team.

No Apple Fitness Integration - but good interface

I love the interface of this app and really wish I could keep using it.

Unfortunately I measure my fitness with Apple Fitness and I need my weightlifting app to count towards my move goal. This app shows up in Apple Fitness but it always marks a workout as 0 active calories used - which is a 0 for the move goal. If an estimate of active calories was added, I would switch to this app.

Underrated!!

This is by far the best app for tracking your lifts/routines/etc.! I have tried them all (seriously) and none were as good as Liftin’. The biggest selling point, however, is the Apple Watch app. Amongst all the competition, Liftin’ has the best watch app, by far, and with absolutely zero sync issues (other apps wouldn’t always sync data from the watch reliably). 5 stars!
