  • Does’nt work on IPhone7😡

Me and the family have always loved and enjoyed watching Disney+ on the tv and even more so on our mobile devices, but just a couple days ago the app has a new update and unfortunately you can not use the app unless you get the update. This would normally not be a problem as updates usually improve things, but I can’t update the app anymore. As of yesterday you have to have at least ios 16 in order to update the app which is very frusterating and unfortunate for many people like myself who have older phones with a lower ios. I have an IPhone 7 and Apple has stopped supporting ios updates for these older phones which I am sure is a tactic to force you into buying their new products, but nevertheless, I stream on other apps with this phone but now Disney+ is unaccesable for people with older phones. Not sure if this is Apple or Disney’s fault, but either way I have a perfectly good phone, and am paying perfectly good money to Disney which is a pure waist and rip off. If this rip off continues I may have to cancel my subscription. Please consider fixing, or at least allowing your paying customers to access the app without having to update it. People with older IPhones are getting ripped off and I would appretiate a fix. Thanks.

  • Stop Overcomplicating Simple Things

I made an error in purchasing a subscription bundle August 1st and immediately contacted support to try to understand what options I had (if I just needed to stick the month out, could switch over to the correct bundle and pay/be paid the difference, literally whatever) and I feel like the customer support between Disney and Apple sent me on a wild goose chase for no reason. Offering me refunds one minute, saying they'll switch the subscription in 48 hours the next, and nothing ever happened. I'd call back and the people just talk to you like your stupid honestly. My account said "Your subscription will expire on September 1st"and when I tried to update it to the correct bundle it jumped back over to my profile and said "your all set" yet still showed the incorrect bundle. I'm confused, I call immediately and ask for clarification on if I just reactivated my subscription or not and to say that we got lost in communication is an understatement. I don't know what y'all need to do, but managing subscriptions (especially through 3rd parties) is a problem and the communication could not be more complicated. If I have any more errors I will be canceling my service because this has just been so ridiculous. Calling on the phone for support is an absolute joke. Contacted Apple Support by text and had everything clarified within a few short minutes. Why is watching streaming services so difficult?!

  • Was good until they updated to no sharing accounts

I’m so mad at Disney for this. It’s so stupid because I have seen many cases, and I’m one of them, where the only reason we liked Disney+ is because it let us share accounts with family members who couldn’t afford to pay the ridiculous amount asked for a subscription. Because of this, heads will turn, and not the right way. Maybe in the first year, people are going to miss and all, buy subscriptions, but eventually no one will want to pay and Disney will probably lose a majority of their customers. I’m just telling you, Disney, just because your popular and you find a dumb chance to make better money doesn’t mean you should. You probably thought that by taking away account sharing, more people would buy. Well your wrong, because that’s not my case anyway. We’re not paying you $7.99 a month for dang basic plan. I mean come on! You better bring back account sharing, and I’ll happily raise my rating and review. Or you can lower your monthly plan, and maybe we’ll actually buy a subscription, and I could raise my rating and review. Just saying, Disney+ may have been an Editor’s Choice app, but now Heads will turn… THE OTHER DIRECTION! I thought you didn’t like seeing your customers upset. Well I’m a customer and I’m upset, so fix it!
    Thank you for reading!

  • Harder to find things harder to use then it should be

Doctor Who specials, four of them, are each entered as separate items and are not automatically selected together when you add one of them to your list. They should be connected to the Doctor Who regular series. This kind of lack of coordination and what is now one of your premier franchises is really dopey.

That makes things harder to find an annoying to use and makes me not want to watch more in the app when I have that kind of stumbling block. I'm gonna work through it for Doctor Who because that's important to me, but it sure makes me plan on canceling my subscription as soon as I'm done with the season.

Another thing that is behind is controls are not automatically on the screen on my iPad. As with so many things, volume is a problem for dialogue in marvel movies and series. I have to have the volume up high enough to catch the dialogue but then when the explosions happen, they are uncomfortably loud. So because of this rudeness in the making of films and TV series, I need my volume controls to be easy to access. I should be able to touch the screen and have them pop up and immediately slam the slider for that. Using the buttons on the iPad is too slow and I have to pause, adjust the volume, resume watching. This makes me want to save anything I can for watching on other platforms when it is available for streaming through other services with better apps.

  • Great app, password system is trash

First of all, the app has great content and is very user-friendly. I enjoy that there are movies for a variety of ages, and profiles are pin-protected.

The reason why I’m giving this 3 stars is because of the password system. There has not been a single experience where I’ve tried logging back into the app after an update or something and the password will not be accepted.
The account is a part of a Verizon Wireless deal that my mother has, so it’s in her name and email. It’s like there is some kind of disconnect between her phone, my phone, and our TV (Insignia Roku TV). She doesn’t seem to have issues logging in, but there have been few times where I can get logged in on the TV or my phone. Usually the TV will not allow casting unless signed in on the TV first so that’s pointless (not the app’s fault but I figured I should mention.)
She has reset her password numerous times, like 3 or 4 and it’s like the database doesn’t update the password information on other devices or something. Uninstalling the app and reinstalling it hasn’t worked either. Really frustrating. Other than that it’s a really cool app so I hope it can be fixed.

  • A ton of audio description available

Disney+ has so much audio description available that I thought every single one of their movies and shows had audio description until zombies three came out and I wanted to rewatch one and two. I first saw zombies one and two before I lost my eyesight. I played zombies one and there was no audio description and I thought someone had changed my settings. I called my best friend and told him my dilemma, he looked online and saw that Disney ads new audio description to Disney+ every month. Out of all the apps available for streaming that I’ve used, Disney+ has more audio description than all of them. I am so grateful because without audio description, the movie just does not make sense to me. I can only figure out about 60% of it, which makes watching not worth it for me. Because I am blind, when the movie or TV show has a part that has no dialogue and just action and music, I am completely lost. hopefully, one day soon you guys will add audio description to the TV show once upon a time. I’m currently trying to rewatch it as a blind person and even though I saw it when I was still sided, I forgot a lot, so I have been pretty lost at times during my rewatch. Thank you so much Disney+ for caring about entertaining people with disabilities!

  • Worst app ever here is why

I’m not kidding when I say this is the worst app ever movies are fairly good but most aren’t good at all. There’s only like a couple movies that I actually enjoyed on here. Also, the renewal payment will not work. I’ve typed my credit card information in this app over 20 times I’ve logged into my account and log back out over 20 times and I still can’t watch my shows, I don’t know what else they want me to do I tried contacting customer service didn’t work didn’t go through so that’s why I’m mad because how many times do they want me to type all my information in for it to not go through they told me to visit my Roku thing did that signed in tight my credit card information did all that good stuff went back to the app. Still making me type in more stuff, then tried to sign in with a new email and still is making me type in my credit card information over over again I have money on my account I don’t understand why they won’t let me watch. It says my next renewal will be October and October and it’s September so why can I watch movies? Why can I watch my show? Thank you.
That is my honest opinion and I’m going to need you to update an app because I’m tired of resigning in and this is the worst app ever I will not be using ever again

  • Great Material

If Disney would just make their parks more affordable and adhere to Walt Disney standards, their profits would increase. This premium specialty channel is great. I’d be remised if I neglected to to comment that they’ve went off the deep end going too far left, yet economically and just as equally, moved too far right. There’s no balance in social standards or consideration for subscribers. Here in NYC, we’ve lost programming with SPECTRUM, due to unscrupulous business wrangling from the Disney Corporation for more financial gain. On a different note, I have to really monitor what the kids watch, so as not to let them be indoctrinated before learning who they are. There are many subliminal as well as open out right political and social statements which may fit the times for the sake of political correctness. However, I’ve no interests in constantly explaining abnormalities which we as adults very well know, is being advertised and twisted as being normal. Disney + is good, yet they keep missing the correct societal marks that we need in entertainment, concerning our children’s growth and development.

  • Fun but not too fun

I love Disney+. It has everything you could want but I wish they had more stuff that was Netflix on Disney+ like Bunk’d and a lot of stuff I like to watch high school musical all of them the series every day that is one of the best things I have a like to watch series that’s my favorite like big city greens and cartoons. They’re funny and I like live action like ravens home but that’s a raven is better and I wish they had Annie she’s my favorite and that’s my favorite movie like ever they used to have it but they took it off and I was really sad so they should add it back and it is always kicking me out every day but I solve it by took five months to solve it and they should have more Netflix because Netflix is for 12+ and most people are under 12 like me pretty sure it is for 12 and plus because when I got it and most people like Disney+ less than they like Netflix because Netflix is more fun and they have more fun stuff. That’s why I’m giving this a two star because it’s not that but I love Disney watch and two look at all the new and interesting characters that they have or the old ones like Hannah Montana, Casey, and the cover, Jessie high school, musical and love the stuff live in Maddie like this piece this is me love Netflix JK love Disney+.😄❤️😍

  • Great but add more context and fix mare bugs

I really love this app there is a lot of content I love watching shows and movies like miraculous finding Nemo and Dory Moana Rapuzals tangled adventure and some Disney junior like the lion guard and many people’s favorites like Bluey and more one day I was talking to my cousin and she said her favorite episode of miraculous was season 5 episode 14 I looked on Disney but it wasn’t there so try adding new episodes faster and maybe you should add nick jr shows like the adventure of paddington bear peppa pig and hey dugee and add more Bluey episodes I’m tired of waiting 2 years just for new videos and they added new episodes but they are not on Disney I know some are a bit more mature for younger kids but you can just change the ratings and take it off Disney junior and add the some anime’s the haunted house and Sonic x and demon slayer and movies and shows that were good in theater like Sonic one,Sonic two, spider man, into the spider verse and the super Mario bro movie and some Mario anime’s and I love watching home alone and home alone 2 I went to Disney but I couldn’t find both of them and I went to my downloads and they were expired so please fix this and when I watch an episode or a movie and I turn my my screen around it goes into a corner and it glitches and the screen freezes and kicks me out
