Loved it, but the ads stopped it from working altogether!!
I’ve been a DisneyPlus subscriber since the very beginning, and have loved the service - until they quit offering the plan we originally signed up for and they bumped us to a plan with ads. Ads themselves wouldn’t bother me - but the stupid thing freezes up nearly every single time it runs an ad on our main smart tv!! It is a “supported device”, we have no issues with any other of the many services we have, but DisneyPlus can’t seem to get this under control whatsoever! Even worse, their customer service is completely useless and untrustworthy - a complete waste of time! I’ve contacted them nearly 10 times about the same issue, spending 30-60 of getting the runaround every single time. They’ve told me that they would give me ad-free without the upcharge until the issue is fixed, but they keep switching us back to ads without fixing the issue - making the service completely useless to us!! We like to watch movies and shows together as a family in our living room, our tv is pretty new (bought after moving into our 4 year old house), so I don’t know why I even bother anymore. I will cancel and write every negative review I can find a place to if they don’t fix this problem soon - what a waste of time and money!!!

My beef with Disney plus.
I can 100% appreciate the selection of shows/ movies but… the reason they have such a selection is because Disney, as a company, is such a money hungry capitalist pig. Max was my go to for shows like the amazing world of gum all and Steven universe now I go want to watch them I have to go to Disney. Watching an episode is now 30% ads. When you first start the episode, ad, when you finish the episode, ad, it’s like waiting 3 minutes just to watch an episode in the first place. You’d think the billion dollar Disney would be able to NOT put ads every second of every episode. What’s the point of buying streaming services with ads? The whole reason I bought these services in the first place is to not have commercials like cable but now it’s the same thing. This greedy disgusting corporation buys the rights to all these shows so people have no choice but to go buy their service. I like watching these shows to fall asleep to and if I hear some stupid fragrance ad it is NOT relaxing. If this didn’t have LITERALLY EVERY show I like I would delete this and stay as far away from this app as possible but again. ONE OF THE RICHEST ENTERTAINMENT COMPANIES STILL PUT ADS IN ONLY TO GARNER AD REVENUE. It’s pitiful. If you read this far get a max account. Better set up all around and no ads

Annoying
Although this app has the basic for what a streaming app needs, they absolutely could be doing more. The most annoying thing is not being able to remove things from your "continue watching" You can't set a sleep timer, a lot of people these days, including myself and all of my friends and family, so when there's silence I wake up. You have to fully wake yourself up to swipe away and fully close the app to then have to open the app again, and then log into your account (pin protected) and get to your continue watching. it's a nuisance, I know people don’t want to miss where they were which is why I think there should be a timer. You can’t rate TV shows for more accurate recommendations, the wait time between episodes??? I'm not waiting 20 seconds, even 20 seconds of silence is enough to wake me up and I know that because it has, there's a lot of frustrating things that they could be working on

Disney is awesome (and appropriate)
Disney is one of my fave platforms to stream shows.
You can have shows some episodes for the younger kids that Nancy Clancy mirror the Royal detective and some other ones that I think your kids would really like for you the other kids you can obviously always just go on and you can make your own profile and you can watch anything the only thing I would recommend is for in the middle age so you could pick which age in between for some feedback because it’s still some episodes that you don’t really want it on the first page that could scare kids but other than that it’s got a really good sleep Selection of stuff and I really like it and yeah it also allows kids to learn about the world and she can watch some shows that are really good for kids my favourite right now girl meets world it’s really good show and I think a lot of kids away that love it and it’s really appropriate it’s really awesome and I love the show that they stream on it I just am really grateful for you to have this platform but if you would like something I recommend Western for the kids to the five I mean Junior for the kids to the five kids 5 to 10

LOVE THIS
So there is like a million things that take over the cons of this app! I love this app because it is so easy to stream from anywhere, at any time or place. The variety of different contents, from movies to shows are absolutely amazing! I have been currently been reliving my childhood and watching all the Disney Princesses movies, and I am currently traveling as I write this. Disney+ is able to stream from anywhere (minus Asia, though when I went to India, I just used Disney+ Hotstar), and can even be used on airplanes when downloaded. Only downside of this is that after I download some things, it ends up deleting itself and not working since the area/wifi you are or have downloaded things change. This is an easy fix as all you have to do is delete the download, and redownload it again which should not take long unless you have bad wifi/data. Overall, this app has never let me down, and even gives options from around the world! I do wish they would fix the downloading thing since it is annoying, and add more content, but other than that, best streaming app ever!

I love this cat and the reason why I love this is because you get to play on it all the time watch it but the only thing I would say that it needs a little is properly won’t let like little kids like me like me. I’m not little but I just hate being on junior mode. I was one , My family has the app, but the only thing bringing our iPhone. Or our iPad and it is free all you have to do is just sign up and like do you like a pain and then you get to add people like anybody and then you have all kind of 👍 by your name of characters, it is like so so so so so so so so so so so so so so soooooooooooooooooooooo much fine I literally love it and I am on a 24 seven so I would really recommend if you have a little kids if you like love watching movies or funny videos or even little like Bluey or Peppa Pig or anything and videos that are not inappropriate I would suggest you get this right now cause it is like so quiet and you will literally love it so yeah, I really need it not to it just like so so much fun 🤩 you can watch it on the trip on the plane anywhere you go it is free no Wi-Fi needed so that is why I gave this a five star ⭐️ review I just love it so much like you have to get this remember Disney+ this app it’s so much fun!

Does’nt work on IPhone7😡
Me and the family have always loved and enjoyed watching Disney+ on the tv and even more so on our mobile devices, but just a couple days ago the app has a new update and unfortunately you can not use the app unless you get the update. This would normally not be a problem as updates usually improve things, but I can’t update the app anymore. As of yesterday you have to have at least ios 16 in order to update the app which is very frusterating and unfortunate for many people like myself who have older phones with a lower ios. I have an IPhone 7 and Apple has stopped supporting ios updates for these older phones which I am sure is a tactic to force you into buying their new products, but nevertheless, I stream on other apps with this phone but now Disney+ is unaccesable for people with older phones. Not sure if this is Apple or Disney’s fault, but either way I have a perfectly good phone, and am paying perfectly good money to Disney which is a pure waist and rip off. If this rip off continues I may have to cancel my subscription. Please consider fixing, or at least allowing your paying customers to access the app without having to update it. People with older IPhones are getting ripped off and I would appretiate a fix. Thanks.

Disney is pretty great, it has a wide selection of shows, movies and documentaries but at some points it can be hard to use. There are only two profile changes which is kids and the one were you can watch whatever you want, but thinking about teenagers, shouldn’t there be one that has G, PG, M, and the most popular MA varieties. Also, when watching Disney, at points you need to update it a lot and sometimes someone just wants to watch something without needing to go to the App Store and making an update. Another thing to take into consideration is what movies the app is wanting and recommending you to watch, people know what they want to watch so no more extra effort needs to be put in to do that. Something else is that I don’t think there is anything that says who plays who in the movie or show, the cast in it is very important and maybe someone wants to know who that person is or what else they act in. Also, Disney needs to be more tidy with the layout of when you watch it, with this, organisation is key, and it would look better. Finally, I think that it would be much better if the theme of the movie is written, images a big family trying to find a movie to watch but they don’t know the theme and may as well go to Netflix, and by theme I mean who it is recommended for, the romantic type maybe or the horror loving type.

Stop Overcomplicating Simple Things
I made an error in purchasing a subscription bundle August 1st and immediately contacted support to try to understand what options I had (if I just needed to stick the month out, could switch over to the correct bundle and pay/be paid the difference, literally whatever) and I feel like the customer support between Disney and Apple sent me on a wild goose chase for no reason. Offering me refunds one minute, saying they'll switch the subscription in 48 hours the next, and nothing ever happened. I'd call back and the people just talk to you like your stupid honestly. My account said "Your subscription will expire on September 1st"and when I tried to update it to the correct bundle it jumped back over to my profile and said "your all set" yet still showed the incorrect bundle. I'm confused, I call immediately and ask for clarification on if I just reactivated my subscription or not and to say that we got lost in communication is an understatement. I don't know what y'all need to do, but managing subscriptions (especially through 3rd parties) is a problem and the communication could not be more complicated. If I have any more errors I will be canceling my service because this has just been so ridiculous. Calling on the phone for support is an absolute joke. Contacted Apple Support by text and had everything clarified within a few short minutes. Why is watching streaming services so difficult?!

Disney plus (the marvel section)
I love going on Disney plus and watching whatever I’m in the mood for, when I’m feeling lonely I’ll watch an avengers movie or an old fantastic 4 movie or maybe even an Xmen movie, Disney plus has possible the best movie and TV show selection ever to exist, if you’re maybe in a mood where you want to sit down with the whole family and watch a movie then there are plenty of appropriate options for all ages, one of the things I love the most about Disney plus is that as a marvel fan who wasn’t there for old marvel projects coming out (I wasn’t born yet) I wonder what marvel was like back then, and Disney plus gives every movie from every time that any of them were released.
All in all it’s the best app on my phone because I just love to be able to put on whatever I want without not knowing if I’ll be able to watch it👍
