Disappointed caregiver

The app was working fine for the last year about a month ago could not see the appointments for my elderly mother contacted customer service tech-support. They’ve been working on it for two weeks still cannot resolved The problem. Does not work on windows operating system does not work on Apple operating system when you trying to take care of an elderly person that has a lot of appointments and things happen within the medical field that appointments are canceled. You need to stay on top of things. What’s the use of having an app when you can’t get accurate information not worth downloading the app.

Broken

When you press the “find emergency or urgent care” button the app hard crashes to Home Screen. Probably bad that it that particular button. Everything else in the app takes just long enough to work that you question if it is going to work every time.

Not user-friendly

Frustrating that you have to have FollowMyHealth if you want to email your doctor It is not like mychart like the other hospitals such as Weill Cornell, Mount Sinai, and NYU.

Constantly inaccessible.

Tells me I have an an appointment but does not show it. A poor website and a time waster.

Review appointment Dr Tara Kim 10/18/22

Was late for 1 pm appointment due to heavy traffic and parking issues. I am severely disabled due to degenerative arthritis and stenosis lumbar area Treating MD Dr Mitchell Levine. Have had surgery June/19. Currently under review for second surgery or appropriate treatment as disease progressed.
Due to late arrival Dr Kim would not see me for ongoing treatment of my hypothyroidism and nodules present on the thyroid. and both she and staff were very rude in any accommodation of my scheduled appointment. She was in her office, when she saw me she told staff to close the door to her office.
I was struggling to stand with walker and in pain but Dr Kim did not come out to greet me in any way. She told her staff to tell me to reschedule. They gave me November 29 2022. As I was coming in to Lenox Hill Hospital November 30 the next day 2022 for mammogram and US breasts treatment fibrocystic disease breasts thru Dr Faith Menken on that day I could schedule around that to fit in a time for Dr Kim. Dr Kim staff said no, that she was fully booked on the 30th and repeated that 29th was the only time, that she could not adjust her time on the 30th to see me nor did she intend to see me while I was there 10/18. Their last appointment was 4:40pm and that was it. No other times were offered I was really tired and honestly in pain so I just said I had to leave was glad such a new doctor could be so independent from her patients that she no way could accommodate them. FYI I have NYC disabled parking permit allowing me to park close. I have had breast reduction surgery as a treatment in help monitor the development of new cysts in cancer prevention I have never had cancer. A kind patient sitting in Dr Kim’s office during most of this situation, when I left, offered to assist me to my car. I was ok thanked her and made my way on my own. This experience was a surprise as the treatment and care by Doctors and all persons is tops. That is why I make my way in to New York City from Connecticut even though I have not lived here for a very long time.

Review follow my health app

Your f m h app. IS VERY DIFFICULT TO NAVIGIaTE! Example: Up coming dates When reached page only some PAST DATES SHOWED!! Not upcoming as notified !!! Just one exAmple. I can supply many more. VERY FRUSTRATING. ZERO *

Ridiculously poor implementation

So Northwell, the enormous healthcare conglomerate flush with capital, couldn’t figure out how to build a single app that allows patients to schedule appointments AND see lab results and communicate with medical providers. Instead, and inanely, you must download and install yet another app (Follow My Health), complete with another long list of security questions and answers to memorize. Considering how the elderly are the biggest consumers of healthcare, I can only imagine how difficult Northwell has made it for them to access healthcare. Inexcusable.

You are correct, currently clinical information is found within FMH and appointment management, bill pay and more is found within the NW App, however, we are working diligently to integrate them for a seamless experience. Very Bad

This is nowhere close to what other hospital apps provide. Requires extra apps to get lab data and so far as I can tell doesn’t give you access to your health records such as diagnoses. This so so bad it will affect my choice of hospitals to use.

She was excellent in helping this Senior Citizen maneuver thru an appointment.
Very patient and very helpful.
Wanted to leave a review by phone but got disconnected.

Can’t sign in after creating my account

I had no issues creating my account, but unfortunately I was not allowed to open the App even though I entered my he correct email & password.
It was frustrating.
