  • This + Fantastical = bargain

I just realised that this is part of the premium membership! That was already great value just for Fantastical, which is invaluable, but Cardhop as well?! On all platforms? Nice.

Glad you like Cardhop, and thanks for the review :)
  • Close to Perfection for Contacts

Being able to customize which app to use with which contact makes life a lot easier. Search and swipes also make this app intuitive and fast.

The widgets work well, but I’d like the option to have more contacts on a single widget (maybe just a small icon of the contact, rather than the name). But this, combined with Fantastical, make the yearly subscription worthy !

  • Great workflow tool

Address book is the backbone of your workflow. This app is a godsend not only for adding and managing data, it’s a great launching off point too. We’ll worth the money.

  • A subscription service for a contact app!?!?

Have you lost your tiny mind?
And too boot you are charging this amount of money which can only be described as extortion. £39 for a year, and £63 for family haha, how does this app provide that level of value exactly?

Honestly, I hope this app disappears into the ether and people have the common sense not to pay this.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that the subscription is not for everyone and appreciate your opinion on the matter. However, one subscription covers all of your Apple devices and includes both Cardhop and Fantastical. If you have any questions, please contact us at flexibits.com/contact
  • Love this app, but the desktop version has a bug

I love this app, and it works great on my iPhone, and iPad. But the Mac app seems to have a bug. What it does is after it’s been running for a while it starts to eat up memory to the point of where it’s using 60+ GB and causes my computer to crash. I’m hoping this will get fixed soon. But do recommend the iOS apps for sure!

  • Expensive for what it gives

Contact management is a real pain as any hand-written address book will testify. The built-in Contacts app is OK, but I was looking for something with a bit more polish and function. I already use another brilliant app for CRM (Contacts Journal), but I wanted something that is my central contact management hub.

Cardhop was being promoted and I thought I would give it a go. I have been with it for over a year now and it hasn’t really given me anything over the stock app. Integration is expensive (you have to buy the MacOS app separately), the subscription is extremely expensive, and what it gives in return is mediocre at best.

Would I recommend this? Honestly, no. The subscription model simply sinks the app completely. Unless you use voice entry all the time, it gives you nothing over the stock app except another subscription that gives little in return.

We're sorry that you don't see enough value with Cardhop. We no longer offer Cardhop as a one time purchase per platform, so you can't buy a macOS/iPadOS/iOS app separately. It is now all included with the Flexibits Premium subscription along with Fantastical. You get both apps across all platforms under one subscription. If you're interested in giving us feedback about things you'd like to see with Cardhop, let us know: https://flexibits.com/contact
  • Premium too expensive

So disappointed that the premium product is so expensive & out of reach for many people. I am totally opposed to these subscription services. I’m happy to buy a product but will not go in with a subscription.
The concept & product works well so I don’t want to paint a negative picture & I also realise that others are happy with paying a subscription. However, I want you to know my feedback to help you inform your decisions going forward.

Thanks for the review and feedback. Your comments are important. Whilst we have no plans to change our pricing model, we continue to evaluate how best to add value to our existing options. And you are welcome to continue using the free version if that meets your current needs. Thank you!
  • I was wrong. 2.0 is fine.

After the catastrophe that was the Fantastical 3.0 update, I was hesitant to update Cardhop to 2.0, but they didn’t litter this app with grey asterisks and descriptions of features available for rent. The only time I saw a prompt to pay rent was when I tried to change the app icon, which is clearly listed as a premium feature in the app description. If only they had handled Fantastical that nicely, I might still be using it.

  • I’m out… deleted!

The added features to this app and Fantastical have made what was once a clean and streamlined UX, clunky and cumbersome. These were two of my favorite and most used apps. Unfortunately, Flexibits has lost sight of what created so much customer loyalty over many years. Instead they have chosen to load their apps down with poorly integrated features in order to nickel and dime customers with perpetual subscriptions. I paid full price for each app when they were sold as a ‘onetime purchase.’ Even so, I used the apps so much that I paid the subscription for each when introduced so that I could take advantage of the additional features. The more they ‘upgrade’ each app, the more clunky and annoying it becomes. With so many other solid options, I’m out… deleted from iPhone, iPad, and all macs.

Best of luck friends a Flexibits! Hopefully, you all will rediscover the magic that gave your company prominence and endeared thousands upon thousands of customers to your apps.

Sorry you seem to have had trouble using Cardhop. If you contact support I'm sure we'll be able to get you up and running: flexibits.com/contact Also, there's no pressure to subscribe, and if you purchased the earlier versions of our apps then the features from those versions remain free to you, with no subscription necessary. Thank you.
  • Have been using for several years and love the app!

Thank you for such a user friendly app that has several nice features that the standard contacts app on the iPhone does not have! Cardhop has been rock solid performance for years!Thank you!!!
One feature that I would love to see added is the ability to be reminded when it is someone in my contacts wedding anniversary. This option could be similar to how you already show when an individuals birthday is coming up. I kindly ask that you please consider adding that option 😀
