  • Worthwhile

Cardhop has a learning curve, but is worthwhile using, even for just a personal address book. I was looking for an easy way to work with groups and this has it. Now I’m starting to use different accounts; something the stock app doesn’t do, AFIK. Unfortunately, the price is somewhat off putting for many. Who knows, maybe Apple will buy FlexBits and improve their stock app.

  • A better Contacts app than Apple

I love CardHop (and Fantastical) and am glad it’s part of my subscription. If you are against subscriptions, okay. But I don’t have a problem with it. Especially with Flexibits. They make quality apps. Now, I get everything on all my devices included. Quite a deal. Less than 20 cents a day! I love the way Flexibits keeps improving their apps by listening to their users. Many developers don’t do this. I’m a huge fan.

  • Another app ruined by in app purchases

Used to love this app and do appreciate the developers response that they need to support their business. Totally understand that but what you have now done for those of us that have been grandfathered in, is litter the app with unusable buttons and calls to subscribe. For me I’m out as this should be optionally turned off so I can continue to use the app the way it was intended instead of getting in my way. For me I’m out but wish you the best of luck on the subscriptions.

  • Stay Away! It’s a scam.

Obviously the developers didn’t learn their lesson from their Fantastical Calendar app. These are worst developers in the entire App Store. Their lack of integrity and greediness is overwhelming.

Our subscription allows us to offer constant and iterative updates to our apps over time, in a way that charging for a one-off app every 4 years or so couldn't. If you previously purchased Cardhop when it was a one-off app, you'll still have access to all the features you purchased, and ongoing support for free.
  • Seems nice so far, a few missing actioms

I've installed this since it became a part of my subscription. I like the way it looks and works a so far. It would be great, however, if you could add a dialer to the app. Trying to call someone from the app takes 3 or 4 taps (first works problems, I know). It'd be so much more efficient if I could dial directly from the app when clicking on a contact instead of clicking on the contact, then the phone number I want to call, then call in the app, and then call from the iPhone dialer. If that could be done, I'll be 100% sold.

    Thanks.

  • Subscription

Why do we need a subscription for a contacts app? Flexibits destroyed fantastical doing the same bait and switch and now Cardhop. Thanks for nothing, my original payment doesn’t offer me any loyalty. No thanks to $60 a year to this.

  • A truely fantastic replacement for the Contacts App

Finally, a truely worthwhile replacement for the Apple contacts app. Crafted by the team at Flexibits, makers of the superb calendaring App Fantastical, if you love elegant, beautifully made third party software, this is the one for you. Stunningly good input, with Flexibit’s legendary natural language input support. There’s a tonne of power user features, hidden behind a graceful user interface.

  • Everything You Need for Contacts

I’ve finally found a Contacts app that delivers on ease of use, intuitive user interface and many features.

I especially like its integration with Fantastical, and it keeps your Apple Contacts app synchronized in case you need to revert back…not that you would!

A couple of enhancements that would be nice: more user fields, and stop the bouncing back and forth of the search box from the top to the bottom. It makes me dizzy, LOL!

  • Another app that you pay for and then they charge annually

Once again another app that gets you to pay a lot for a one off (like Fantastical - same family) app and then they decide to go monthly/annual to charge even more money - a real rip off. Will never pay them for what now is a rubbish app 🤬🤬 No use telling me that they need to make their business substantial when they charge for each operating system and then afterwards “move the goal posts” just to make more money by charging again and again.

Hi, As a Cardhop 1.0 user, you continue to have access to all the features you purchased at the time of launch and you do not have to subscribe if you don't want to. You'll continue to receive ongoing support and bug-fix updates too. We do have to ensure our business is sustainable, and our subscription allows us to achieve this. Thank you!
