  • Major Order Status Flaw: blank if out of stock

    Generally fine, but major flaw is that if they don’t have supply for a prescription there’s no acknowledgment of having received it in your prescription list, so there’s no indication that your provider called it in. I’ve contacted my provider several times only to find that Hannaford has put it on a “hold” for being out of stock-there’s just nothing to tell the customer that.

    It’s a massive flaw that needs to be corrected as it wastes customer time, providers time, and the pharmacy’s time when customers have to call to verify they received the initial script.

  • Hannaford pharmacy app

    Super user friendly. Easier than I expected. I work for a competitor as a pharmacy tech and our app is more evolved which I thought was better but it makes it a bit more challenging for older patients who are not used to cell phones. This one immediately and easily let me reorder my prescriptions. I didn’t have to register, sign in or link anything, it just knew who I was. My pharmacy is a lot faster by leaps and bounds- hardly any wait time, 10 minutes max for waiters- way bigger staff, extremely competent workers. . Hannaford takes 2 days by app. Our line gets 3 deep and a second ringer comes over, and a third if needed. Hannaford has hour wait times if I go in to shop and it’s not ready. I was thinking of switching to my place of work instead of Hannaford but my family has always worked at and shopped Hannaford so out of loyalty I stay.

  • Needs some attention

    I’ve been using this app for over a year and for the most part it is helpful; however, it needs improvement

    1. User should be able to delete old prescriptions. In my list of prescriptions, one medication is listed six different times with no refill. I don’t know which of these to choose as far as refilling it so I would like to be able to eliminate the prescriptions that no longer apply. The pharmacist informs me that only one prescription exists on their system. so they don’t sync up and they cannot sort it out from their end.

    2. Be able to remove auto refill using the app. Presently I must speak to a pharmacist.

    3. Which doctor? Whenever I receive a text notice that my doctor is being contacted about refilling a prescription, I have no idea as to WHICH doctor. I have several.

    Maybe combine the notice with either the drug name or Rx number or both. That way I don’t have to wait another week to find out that the prescription isn’t filled since the doctor didn’t respond. Whereas had I known, I would have contacted the doctor. Actually if you cannot identify the doctor, it’s a bad idea to say you’ll automatically contact them, giving me false hope.

    4. Coders, yes you, spend some time assisting refills and understand their system. When I asked the pharmacist if I could speak with their app person in order to sort out these issues on my app, he shrugged his shoulders and said he didn’t know much about it.

  • Was good now awful

    I had used this app all the time. Awhile back I started getting a message that said “ due to a system upgrade I had to create a new account” I tried that numerous times, each time it said there was already an account with my name. So frustrating. I reached out to pharmacy staff and store management and was told they don’t have access to the apps or it’s issues. I reached out to hannafords on the phone and got nowhere, I sent an email and got back a response that had no bearing what so ever on my issue. Maybe it’s time to move my scripts and go to Walgreens. If I could have given this app a zero stars I would have.

  • Staff is excellent

    I switched to Hannaford a long time ago and the staff is amazing! The only complaint is that I think over time, they have gained so many customers that it is difficult for them to keep up as a small town pharmacy. Especially since they seem to be short pharmacists often which has now changed the hours to closed on weekends. This doesn’t effect me but assume for some people, it can be difficult to get there during weekdays only. Overall, I love having a pharmacy close to home.

  • Endless loop of making me create a new user ID

    A few months ago the app locked up every time I attempted to login and I’d get a message “you need to create a new user ID due to a system upgrade”. Finally, I created a new user ID and got back in.

    The problem is almost every time I’ve gone into the app every few weeks for a refill, I had to create a new user ID again. I finally got fed up and called support. I’ve now gone through this process a few times. Locks up and says I need to create a new user ID. I call support and they reset the account 48 hours later. It just happened again. I’m fed up taking so much of my time to try and get a few clicks to work to refill a script.

  • Finally Awesome Again

    I loved the app and it was very easy to use UNTIL Hannaford updated their system. The old app wouldn’t work anymore and I was having trouble getting set back up on the updated app/system. I asked several time for help and was told just to wait because they were working on the updated system. I stopped asking for help and stopped trying to use the app for months. Finally today I decided to give it one more try. It worked it worked it worked!!! I am so happy and the updated app/system works great!

  • Hannafords make it's easy

    I always look forward to picking up my priscriptions now when I used to dread it at certain pharmacy's they wouldn't be very nice or they would always have an issue with weather it be they couldn't get my medicine for a couple days even though they knew it was due every time around the same time. I remember one time i waited two weeks for a medcine and by the time they had it I wasn't feeling so good . Ever sense I switched pharmacy's it's made my life way easier and I'm no longer anxious when refill time is due and the employees are all so sweet and just nice humans so thank you hannafords pharmacy. The longest I've had to wait for my scripts is the fallowing day.

  • Review -I appreciate the Hanniford pharmacy staff ( Delmar and Clifton Park)

    Pharmacist and techs are always helpful, professional and courteous. They are patient with cost comparisons ( I use good rx a lot) and they are always patient with price adjustments. If a drug isn’t in stock they are as helpful as possible (ie partial fill if able) and informative about when to expect the med to be available. Scheduling immunizations is easy and the staff is again courteous, respectful and professional.

  • I am so upset with this it never works now it won’t validate my new account

    I had an account for years it’s important for my meds and this app stopped working months ago made me change to a new account and never would work says error so I tried to make a new account on a diff phone this time and it let me but now it won’t go past the pin validate section I enter my pin to validate and it just sits there there is no enter button done button nothing but enter pin and it does nothing so now I just have absolutely no way to get on my account and see if my meds are ready or sent correctly and pharmacy is no help. This is ridiculous why is this not being fixed !? I don’t know what to do it won’t work I can’t make A new one and there saying my main account I always had don’t exist so the app is shot I guess it’s not being updated or fixed by any devs thanks for nothin
