  • Great but the exercise transitions are too fast

I love this app. It has very valuable information to help you on your pregnancy journey. I'm a first time mom and this app has helped me stay informed about my pregnancy and what to expect and do for a great pregnancy. I love the workouts but there the transition from one workout to the next is too fast. It doesn't give you enough time to get into the new position and take in what the exercise entails before starting the countdown. Especially if you're moving from a floor exercise to a standing one with a big old belly in your center.

  • Worst

Worst app ever. Never signup. Fraud
  • Worst customer service

I have been waiting 3 months for ANY sort of response- charged my card for a renewal I didn’t want but I’m locked out and can’t even access the dang thing!!! Emails are being ignored! Ruined a good app experience
  • Beware of scammy subscription practices and poor customer service.

Let me just say, I found the app helpful. I liked the workouts and the recipe suggestions. It had some good value. But after my baby was born I planned to not renew for another year, and renew again the the future for my next baby. However my tune has changed. I have both my email and phone # connected to my account, but I received no notification at all that it was due to renew. I realize there are subscription models that do this, however I view it as a scummy practice especially for a product directly marketed to mom’s with babies. In spite of not notifying me, they changed me for another year’s subscription and I only found out when I saw my credit card statement. Not the end of the world. I submitted a customer service ticket which said they would reply to within several hours. It’s now been several days and there has been no response. It looks like I’ll be filing a dispute with my credit card company. Juna has successfully lost someone who would otherwise have been a loyal returning customer. The app is decent enough that they should have to resort to scammy practices to maintain their business. Edit: when you click the “App Support” button at the top of the review section it sends you to a 404 Page not found.

  • I was charged again for a subscription and was not notified

If you sign up via their website beware. They charged me for another years subscription without even notifying me that it was being renewed and now I am trying to get in contact with support to get a refund as I haven’t used the app in about 8 months (I didn’t really need it after about 3 months post partum). And they charged me $120 US. Meanwhile when I first signed up it was only $50. Terrible customer service.

  • Useful but not incomplete

The app has some great qualities. I love it that it gives workout tailored to each week and that it feels like I know I’m safe doing the workouts. I love the little courses. I have a couple improvements I’d love to see…
    1. On the meditation it sounds like the woman is teaching in a large space and her energy & voice is kind of aggressive- it feels like not so relaxing. Would love just a gentle voice not feeling like a class recording where she’s speaking up loud to the folks in the back.
    2. Would love to be able to log my workouts, for a calendar to show what I’ve done and log my cardio.

Overall the app is decent and I’ll keep it- just wish it had a few more capabilities.

  • Transparency

Took my personal data, name, due date and phone number all before hitting me with the paywall. I don’t mind apps that are subscriber only, but be upfront before signing me up!
  • Good workout diversity, but no Apple Watch compatibility

I work out about 5 days a week, and I used to use Nike Training Club. When I got pregnant I tried their pregnancy workouts, but the offerings are pretty limited. I tried Juna because they have different workouts tailored for each week of pregnancy, and that part has been great. I just keep forgetting to start my Apple Watch when I start one of Juna’s workouts. I wish I could pair my watch with Juna the way I could with NTC, so it automatically detects when I start a workout.

This is the most helpful pregnancy app by far and I’m so glad I found it!!! Food themes for week great recipes and workouts all in one place, and now some educational courses, it’s incredibly valuable for this particular times in life learning so much at once and trying to get it all right. BEST PRENATAL AND POST 6+ months you’ll be so glad to have in hand

  • Very efficient and effective

I use this app mainly for the workouts and am looking forward to the labor prep. As an avid weight lifter and runner/walker I was worried these workouts would be too easy…. But I was wrong! They are highly effective and I definitely break a sweat and feel sore the next day. The workouts incorporate very functional movements that I can tell will be so helpful in preparing for labor.
