  • Great resource

I was doing CrossFit like workouts at the beginning of my pregnancy but had to stop due to COVID. I follow Mommy Labor Nurse and she recommended Juna. It has been a good resource because staying active is so important through pregnancy. I love how the plan progress with the pregnancy and for my recovery when that time comes!

  • Pretty Good but a few small tweaks

I really like this app with all the helpful info. Love that it not only tells you important foods but how to incorporate them. The workouts aren’t super easy but not rigorous either. I wish the workouts not only counted up from start but also showed you how much time you had left. Also I wish with the exercises they told you at what point during the exercise to inhale and exhale. Overall a pretty good app.

  • Personal info

It requires all your personal details including your mobile number and email. You cannot bypass this as it requires you to get a pin that sent to your mobile. You cannot access anything before giving it this information.
This is unnecessary for an app like this
  • Great app for pregnancy

I loved this app during the trial period! It’s great because it has nutrition needs, information about what week you’re on, breathing exercises, and guided workouts (though Tuesday and Thursday are cardio days which are not guided, and Sunday is rest day). The “manage subscription” button sent me to a broken link, so I was a little worried I’d be charged for the app, but I was able to cancel before my 7 day trial ended by going to my Apple subscriptions in my iPhone settings. I sent an email to support to alert them of the glitch. If I had more disposable income I would definitely have kept the subscription, but I’m about to be a single mom.

Hey Mama! Thanks for the review, we updated that link in the last update, sorry for the inconvenience. Glad you enjoyed the app while using it!
  • Amazing app!

This app is so much fun and easy to follow along with. I’ve never been more motivated to stick with a workout plan. I highly recommend this app!
  • Awesome! Best pregnancy exercise app!

I've tried multiple exercise apps during my pregnancy and as quite a fit person I have found them all far too easy and a bit generic really. This is my favourite, I love it! It's challenging for me and pregnancy and pelvic floor safe, which is important to me with my physio background. It ticks all the boxes- well done :)

  • Juna is a great help!

The Juna app was appealing to me for the workouts. I was doing higher intensity exercises before I got pregnant and wasn’t having a hard time finding my groove during the first trimester. I’ve got cardio down but lower motivation and inspiration when it comes to strength workouts. Using Juna in my home before a run or before work has helped me immensely. I’m sticking with it! I don’t use the nutrition feature that much since I’m an RD and have a different pregnancy app as well. I will say I felt a little tricked when I was automatically charged for entire year instead of the $20 per month after my 7 day free trial. I decided I will likely use it more than 5 months so it will be worth it and paid the $100 without complaining (until now). I also will mention the workouts changed and there is no longer cardio guidance, just 2 days per week when you are told to do cardio on your own. I kind of liked hopping and running around my room! Anyway overall great addition to helping me stay healthy throughout my pregnancy and I highly recommend.

Thanks Crissy for the nice review. Sorry if there was any confusion around monthly vs annual subscription, we try to make that as clear as possible. We’re glad you’ll enjoy it for at least 5 months. We’re also going to be extending the app bringing in workouts for Active Moms, so hopefully you use it longer!
  • Repetitive workouts, not optimized for iPad!

The workouts are repetitive, the same warmup and cool down every day, and the same 5 workouts on repeat every week of the trimester. I’ve had a lot of trouble using this on the iPad. On the homepage the “what’s going on with your baby” section takes up most of the screen and it’s stuck there so it takes a ton of scrolling to get through the other sections. It’s hard to get the workouts to play nicely in landscape full screen, and they don’t take up the whole screen even when enlarged. Frustrating.

  • Everything I’ve been looking for

During my first pregnancy several years ago, I was frustrated looking for adequate yet appropriate workouts. At the same time, prenatal fitness and nutrition advice was contradictory and confusing depending upon the source. Finally there is an app dedicated to keeping you in shape (yay! I actually sweat during my prenantal workouts!) and also keeping you and baby healthy during pregnancy. I’m so grateful for my pregnancy this time around I can be supported mind and body through this one stop shop. All the workouts, nutrition information, and recipes as well as information on your growing baby is in one place. The app is so user friendly, the workouts and recipes are awesome and feel tailored to me, and I love the Juna community (Facebook page, podcast etc) that comes along with the app. The best part is, I can use this even after I have the baby as well to help get my body back safely and to talk to other moms in the same stage as me. If you are pregnant, thinking about getting pregnant or postpartum you NEED this app! Thank you Juna!!!! 🙌

  • Feel the burn! While being safe!

This is an awesome app to use pre and post pregnancy. The exercises are definitely not ‘easy’ you feel the burn so you know they are effective while also being safe for your stage of pregnancy or post partum. Efficient workouts for busy moms - no better way to stay healthy!
