  • Best place to be is in The Word

I loved using this app this summer. I knew the best place for me to be was in God’s Word, drawing near and reading His Word daily- but how to study it consistently was always a summer struggle. This summer, I used WordGo, picked a book of the Bible I’d like to delve into, and set it up for my pace. I loved the daily reminder that the time I had set was soon approaching, and the set opportunity to begin in prayer with the mesmerizing screen that kept distractions away.

  • So thankful for WordGo!

I love studying the Bible through Bible Study Fellowship in a group setting. Now WordGo is available to do in a group or by yourself to keep reading and studying the Bible in depth. The notes give insight into different ways people may interpret passages and add insight from the time in which the passages were written. The lectures/ teaching have been excellent. I turn to these short studies when BSF is not in session.

  • Hope you will try Word Go!

WordGo is the best App for Bible Study. It is the perfect fit for summer time when other Bible Studies typically take a break. What I like is the variety of studies (Old Testament and New Testament) and the opportunity to choose what to study. The length of studies can be short (2 weeks) while others are longer (6 weeks). WordGo is an excellent app!

  • Great Studies

This has been a great app for several of the studies that I have now completed. It is nice to have the option to use either with a group or personally. I have only used it personally and usually in the summer months since I am active the rest of the year in a BSF group. It took me a while, though, to learn how to navigate between the scripture, to the questions, the notes, and the lecture. The confusion for me was that I was clicking on the lecture before I had finished the lesson. I do like that the notes are broken down into the daily study to be read after the questions are answered rather than wait until the end for reading all of the notes. I also would like to have the landscape option with my iPad use. Overall, the studies are each just amazing information and challenges in my personal study. Navigation is just a bit challenging for the app. Thank you for wanting feedback and for continuing to work on the technology. I do know that BSF is developing the technology at an incredible rate over the past few years!

  • Good Teaching

Teaching is good but the app is not user friendly.
  • Such a benefit

I’ve so enjoyed using this app over the summer break of ongoing studies. It has enhanced my quite times each week with the thoughtful questions and notes. I’ve shared this app with several others who have been so thankful for the additions it has provided to them as well.
  • The Best Bible Study Tool

This app is a life saver. I found myself lost when it came to reading the bible, however WordGo was a game changer. It is easy to use, has in-app note sections, and has questions to guide you and still allow you to have your own thoughts/interpretations. Also, it’s free to use with almost no advertisements. I do not regret finding this, and I wish more people could utilize it.

  • Can’t get out of the Course Library!

All I have access to is the Course Library; there is nowhere, no way, to get to another page.
I chose a Study, just to see what would happen — It took me back to Course Library.
I deleted the app, completed the email verification, reinstalled the App — it took me straight to Course Library.
From other Reviews, I see my experience with the App is not right!
Can’t Rate the App because I can’t use it; had to give it a 1 because it won’t let me write the Review without a rating.

  • Designed for phone only

I’ve been part of BSF for 25 years and would love to use this app. However, I prefer using a tablet with keyboard. Since the app is designed for smartphones only, it’s usable only in portrait mode. That means landscape mode on my tablet with keyboard is unavailable.

Please consider allowing landscape orientation. I’d love to do these extra studies with my kids and other friends but find typing on a phone to be a terrible hindrance for me.

I’m giving it 4 stars despite not having used it. I’m sure it’s wonderful, but the lack of landscape mode knocks it down a notch.

  • One of the BEST Bible Study Aps

As a group and as an individual, I have found the WordGo app wonderful in its teaching and encouragement to not just study scripture(it does this superbly) but to engage with the word and open ourselves to experience God’s presence as we are encouraged to apply the word to our lives. I love the insights and the recorded teaching. I love the Irish accent of the teacher. Wonderful app. We are now using it across all study groups at church.
