Description of ExtendedCare Cloud

Welcome to today’s most personalized, clinically-integrated virtual healthcare. ExtendedCare Telehealth™ is today’s most configurable and clinically-integrated telehealth solution, offering a smooth digital care experience for patients, enhanced clinical workflows for providers, and reduced workloads for administrators. While some care will always need to be delivered in person, we believe everything else can be delivered virtually. In fact, it already is. FOLLOW THESE TIPS FOR A GREAT VIDEO CALL WITH YOUR DOCTOR: 1. Ensure you have a strong wifi signal and are not relying on mobile data for a connection. 2. Before your visit, test your connection by navigating to the app’s home screen and clicking the “Self-Test” button. This test will show you the strength of your audio and video connections. 3. Close all other video-based applications before joining a visit. (e.g., Zoom, WhatsApp, Messenger, Google Duo, etc.) With ExtendedCare, telehealth is more than just a video visit. Our purpose-built, healthcare-focused solution seamlessly integrates with your patient health records and enriches the caregiving experience with digital content and workflows. Bottom line? You have much more to look forward to beyond a video visit. No longer do you need to drive to the doctor, sit in a drab waiting room, or remain disconnected from your care journey. Instead, you can enjoy interactive waiting room content from the comfort of your home, breeze through electronic consent forms in a few clicks, chat with providers before and during a visit, and invite guests in real-time to a consultation. As for your providers, no longer do they need to spend countless hours on paperwork, wait to consult specialists on a case, or waste time waiting for patients who can’t connect to a visit. Instead, they can annotate medical images in real-time, save media directly to EHR, add specialists and other guests via email or text, chat with patients and fellow providers, and triage patients in the waiting room. • Could not use the video visit with my care provider for the whole appointment!(40mins)in vain!

<3 your welcome in advance! (This exact Info will be on review.)

Terrible experience: The app for UC Davis “extended care cloud” has a video visit bug/s in the app for mobile” I never expected this and so I given a try and all my 40 mins were wasted in vain!( I come 3:50pm(appt: 4pm) it was a full fail in technical difficulties! From start to end! ( I was not seen on video them my care provider(screen frozen and the reconnection keep happening and turning into just blank white screen.( I have screen shots of everything I will give a review on the app and add screenshots! Your welcome in advance! <3

The good: is the phone call that I got after wasted with bugs on the “extended care cloud” for 40mins. Terrible: We discussed for about 5-10mins and obviously my time was up and everything would be rated cause of the technical difficulties poor to fair…

Bad: The audio was fine until the screen just froze and the problem was persistent! For 40 mins in vain for appt.= appointment.

The zoom has encrypted video visits/chats and I think the “extended care cloud” does not… so privacy 1-3/5 or below. If there is no encryption… during video calls or visits.

  • Bandwidth issues overcome — thank you!

My first experience with the app back in May was suboptimal to say the least. And it was clear from other reviews that I was not alone in my trouble staying connected. But my recent visit had zero issues and it appears ExtendedCare has addressed bandwidth issues behind the aforementioned problem. Given the unprecedented influx of teleheath users due to COVID, it’s not surprising that this issue occurred. Also, WebEx has clearly upgraded its audio-visual quality in recent months. Overall the experience is night-and-day better and I’m glad my doctor uses this service (and not doxy.me)!!!

  • Can’t reverse the camera

We recently HAD to use this app from our health care provider. At times during the visit it is necessary to reverse the camera so we can see what the doctor sees. We’ve always been able to do this with a previous program they used but with this app when we clicked on the camera icon to reverse it we lost the video connection with the provider and had to disconnect and log in again. There doesn’t seem to be any way to reverse the camera.
