Works great and gives lots of options
Very impressed with my Trimlight system. The app lets you select up to 180 different programs, plus several pre-programmed holidays, plus let’s you design and save your own patterns and programs. I like how it connects to my home Wi-Fi so any device already connected in my house can control this app. Setting up schedules is easy and intuitive. Overall, this system and app work as intended and give me more options than I really need. Very happy with it

Just got my lights installed
I just got my lights installed a couple of weeks ago. This app and the lights are amazing. It has been fun to play with all the different patterns and create my own. I am looking forward to all the Holidays this year to show off my lights.

Awesome and user friendly
Really great app! I love how the lights look on my house and I can change the colors or patterns anytime I want right from my phone. The calendar feature is really helpful too, I usually set it ahead of time for holidays then just let the system run itself. It’s always a nice surprise when I preset it then pull up home at night forgetting that I set it weeks or months ago!

App needs work, lights are great!
With how big this company is getting, seeing more and more houses use these lights, the app needs major work!
1. The wifi was a bit difficult to connect. Hard to use it on the street some times. Needs cloud connection!
2. I don’t like that the lights have to turn on when messing with it. I wish there was an option to mess with the app and not have the lights blinking like crazy. Obviously, doing this during the day will make this doable.
3. Way too little presets in terms of animations. There’s only like 8 or so.
4. The calendar is a bit of a mess to use.
5. Can’t add multiple presets on manual or on calendar so that it cycles through different animations/colors
6. App just looks like it was created way before UI standards for iOS/Android.

Needs to be updated
The idea is genius. I love my lights but the app is limited. I am not fond of the necessity to be standing next to the controller box every time I open the app just to change the light color or sequence. Not sure if it’s an interior wifi issue on the controller. I literally have to re-pair a new device every time I open the app just to update the schedule.

App could use some work
This is a review of just the app, as the lights would be 5 stars.
The app is pretty good and user friendly for the most part. I like all the preset options. Couple things I would fix...
1. I can’t connect using my own network. Nearly impossible to find it. I need to connect to the built in WiFi which is less convenient.
2. The calendar is a bit confusing, as it’s not set up like the actual month with 7 days in 1 row. I have to go back and forth to my phones calendar to get the right date.
And some things I would like to see added...
1. You can save the presets, but not modify. I would love to be able to modify them to change the colors of my choosing since not all presets can be custom made.
2. I would like the lights to be integrated with music. For the price of system, I would think this would be something that could be possible.

Dual devices
Would be better if you would enhance the app to allow alternate devices. If one person isn’t home then the other can control vice versa. This would be an enhanced feature and selling for your system.
The APP??
The lights are great! But the APP that makes them great, not so much. Spent over $6k on my system and as I type this, I am locked out of being able to control my lights during Christmas.
Please spend some money on the APP to control these lights and your reviews will go up.
I have not told my neighbors where I got my lights as I can not give a great review.
