for these past few days I’ve been using this app and I’ve noticed that the pickup times are still way too long, I would have to wait 21 minutes to arrive to school and it leaves me late, and also the drive to the school where my location is 3 minutes, I should not have to wait 21 minutes to drive to a place that takes 3 minutes to drive too.Show lessbuffalopizzaenjoyer
For those who have never known about the app’s glitch
This MetroPickup was very reliable and convenient during the first days I started using it. Whenever I used to book a trip, it would come immediately and pick me up from my home to errands and vise versa. Now in most recent updates, the app has been consistently glitching through unexpected delays and extended periods of waiting moments, even upon booking a quick tiny distance trips. There are times when I just book from a bus stop very close all the way to home and it would even take 25 minutes or more just to travel less than a half-mile between each other. I ended up consistently calling customer support to speed up the process. But I just know if it’s the CapMetro’s fault or the software app itself. For nearly every ride I book, I always get a "You’re ride is delayed. We apologize." I am a person with an extreme panic disorder and these acts from the app are ultimately just a elite ruling-class propaganda in matters of neglect of our working class community here in Austin, TX. I resent all of these stressful moments that I’ve been mostly targeted by and I demand a more reliable app or more operators for every Pickup region in the city.

Where have you been all my life?
Thank you CapMetro & the City of Pflugerville for this wonderful service! The vehicle is big enough to carry multiple passengers, yet does not cause wear and tear on the streets as a big buses may do. The vans are attractive and the drivers are courteous and helpful. I cannot express enough how much this service is needed. Pflugerville, TX is a growing city. Not everyone can afford a vehicle and the cost of it, but EVERYONE needs to be able to get around the city at an affordable rate. There are two suggestions I would like to state if it is doable: #1 extend the beginning and ending service times. #2 extend the service area to include drop off and pickup service in the Town Center Drive shopping area and Typhoon Texas. New rider
I’m a new rider on pick up. Also I’m visually impaired. I’ve been stuck at hm for 6 years since I lost 90% of my vision. My first ride I had a mishap with entering my address but the driver was patient and got me hm. Also you can’t beat the price of the ride. Pick up has changed my life by allowing me to be mobile again without paying a lot for other ride share rides. Making my doctor appointments will be much easier now. Great app
I just moved to Austin a little over a month ago, with no car. Pickup is a cheap way to get rides around the area without walking in the Texas heat.
It's $1.25 per ride and the buses are never crowded. You can only go to a destination in close proximity. Wayyyy cheaper to get a ride than using Uber or Lyft.
Plus, it works every day of the week except Sunday (they just started doing rides on Saturdays).

You keep me safe
On mornings when I can afford it, CapMetro pickup allows me to skip the dangerous walk to my temporary job at Texas Commission of Environmental Quality since there isn’t enough safe space to walk in certain areas of North Lamar.
