  • Great inventory/art, not for new players

Pros: customizable character art of non-human races! Fur and scale rejoice! And you can change the adventuring gear they wear/hold! And all the armor/accessories are tweaked to fit on any body/creature type!
Inventory management is better than many others- I can use the Other type for anything, and give it a counter for how many there is. Is not limited to items found in official books. The flip side being that you have to add the descriptions for everything you add- I usually cut the description down to the essentials like one would when taking notes in a lecture.

Cons: slight learning curve for navigating between pages in-session. Does not help combat action economy, as class abilities are on a separate page. Would be nice to have a tag system that can mark abilities as action/bonus/reaction to show up on the combat page. In short, not great for first-time players.

  • Amazing

Just downloaded it today, it has the most extensive and detailed character customization I’ve seen on a DND game, bought the one time 7$ full version and didn’t regret. It gets a little slow when you add a ton of stuff to your character, but it hasn’t crashed yet. Haven’t used the character sheets yet, mostly bought it to make characters. Great game, I hope they add fish people/ mermaids 😁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Just downloaded, but already getting a lot of use out of it!

My fiancé and I are pretty new to the world of D&D but we’re super excited to dive in and start playing, and the only hang up we’ve been having so far is the complications of character creations, and all the stuff that goes into it. I saw this app on the AppStore and decided why not, might as well try it. Only 20 mins into it so far and I’ve already rounded out two of the characters I was planning on creating. It’s nice to have a visual representation of the character, bc even though I’m artistically inclined, I don’t really wanna spend hours drawing while I’m also trying to just figure out the stats & details of each character.

My only complaint so far is the limited races, because I’ve had my heart set on creating a Kenku rogue and it looks like that’s not an available race. In the upgraded version (costs money) you can add birdlike “helms” to a humanoid character to make them have a bird head, so I guess that’s one way around it but it’d be nice to just have like a bird-folk race available.

TLDR; I like it well enough and even the free version is a great option if you want a visual representation of your rpg or dnd character/s without spending a bunch of time or money

  • Super good! Could be better…

So I love this app. Let me get that clear at the start of this. This is so useful to have art and so many different things all in one place for your DnD character. This app prides itself on diversity of how many options you can have. However, it bothers me that I can’t make a character of different body types than what is traditionally expected of beauty standards. For example, let’s say I choose an ascended, there are only masculine options. If someone wanted to make themselves and they were chubby, it stops them from being able to really put themselves into their character.

  • Perfect For Experienced Players

This app is perfect for any experienced D&D player- it's got spots for ability scores, initiative, weapons, armor, money, (basic) inventory, features, personality, etc. Keep in mind, this is not like D&D Beyond and the like; you have to manually insert all features, ability scores, etc. I picked up the $10 premium account. The price seems fair- I've seen comments about how much this is- but the customization and accessibility is unmatched, and $10 for such a useful and high-quality tool is not an unfair price. The only qualm I've got with it is the lack of a general inventory system, but this can be remedied by a word-processing app, or by using the notes tab within the app itself.

  • Worth the download

I like this app a lot, one thing I would wish to be added is a customization for younger body and face type for those that have teen or kid DnD characters, BUT other then that I love it! The app helps me visually with my characters and their sheets. It takes a bit to get used to, but it’s still great none the less! The character sheet and some customization was still available even if you didn’t spend the $10, which is great in my opinion.

  • New to DND, one of the most beginner friendly Character creation apps

Long time listener/watcher of a lot of different DND campaigns/podcasts but I’ve never played. I’m going to be joining a campaign soon. Already created a character on paper and wanted to get something a little bit easier to digest than my chicken scratch. This app made it really easy to enter all my stats and info, and even add other custom spells/cantrips not listed already. The pixel art is super charming and very customizable, looking forward to using this app for all future sessions!

  • Wonderful customer service

I tried buying the upgrade to get the additional items, if you leave the page with your key you can’t go back to it (at least to my knowledge.) I thought I’d lost 7 dollars and got a bit irritated. I emailed the company and quickly got a response and my account was fixed. I’ve only messed around with the app for a little bit but it’s very intuitive and has a decent amount of options for customization. I look forward to seeing where this app goes!

  • Great app

There is almost infinite possibilities with the app. You can use guided creation (like other apps) but what makes this app better is it also has freehand character creation. What I mean by this is you can write down whatever race you want, you can use as much homebrew as you want because it does not lock you into the rulebooks. I love this app! It makes character creation very fun because you get to see your imagination come to life! The only complaint I have about this app is that I want more races. Otherwise it is totally worth any amount of money that they charge for the full account and I have had so much fun with it.
(Note: using the layering, and color changing features on this app I can kind of make the races they do not have for now but it usually takes a lot of work)

  • Honestly, not a bad app

I was skeptical at first, and was immediately turned away by the $10 purchase, but decided to give it a shot anyways since it was marked down to $7. Surprisingly, it’s really great! It’s a little confusing at first, but isn’t too hard to learn. Made all my characters and am very impressed by the end product. Can’t wait to see what the developer has in store!

Now, some things I would like to see is some more hair options for some of the races (particularly the Dragonborn) and some other details like scars and blemishes to other parts of the body. These are just some suggestions, and don’t change my rating of the app.
