Excellent
This app is an excellent tool. It's character sheet is simple and useful, but it's real value is in it's character creation section. It's pixel-art method is unique as far as I know, and is a blast to use - the endless customization is wonderful and I absolutely am loving using it.
If you're using the free version, don't be afraid to upgrade, it's definitely worth it.
Although I'm rating this as 5-star because it's excellent and I want people to know that, there are still some upgrades that would make it better still.
1. A fully interactive character sheet. By this I mean full class, race, and background integration.
2. Complete spell list. Spells from all the books are excellent. I'd love to see Green Flame Blade, Dragon's Breath, Phantasmal Force, and other favorites in the spells list.
3. More realistic weapons. The abundance of large weapons, magically-effected ones, and powerful staffs are all great, but some simple and martial weapons are oddly still missing. Leme poke somebody with mah rapier.
4. Weapons and Armor integration. I'd love to be able to simply add the longsword art and have the app apply that name and it's damage to my character sheet without having to manually input it. On that note, having the app apply the appropriate to-hit and damage modifiers would be excellent.Show lesscouerdenuit

Thank you so much for your constructive review couerdenuit! I am Danny, Co-creator of Reroll and I really appreciate you taking the time to write these feedback and suggestions! Unfortunately due to copyright reasons, we were only allowed to keep content found in the 5th Edition SRD, which unfortunately only contains a very limited selection of content (e.g. one subclass, one subrace, limited spell selection). That being said, we are considering some form of weapons/armor integration or at least having a basic armor/weapons database to start with. :)Great app, could use little improvements
Overall the app is very well done, I remembered seeing a preview of it ages ago on reddit and was happy to see the final product turn out excellently
However if there was one feature you should add I would say it would be permanent creation of custom classes. For example if I have the players handbook I should be able to enter all the information for the necromancy subclass for wizard onto a custom class page or something similar and then in the future any character I make can select that subclass and use the level up ability normally.

Hello there! I’ve been using Reroll for quite a while now and I absolutely love it. It’s a fantastic tool to add some visualization to any game, I’ve found it helps my players a ton if they can see what they each actually look like. The coloring system can seem a bit confusing at first but once you get into it it’s not hard to master. I have nothing but praises to sing about this app and the team behind it! Definitely worth the money if you’re an active Dm running multiple campaigns or if you just like character creation!

I absolutely love this app! I bought the premium version and it is worth it for the amount I use it. The only thing is that it is hard to keep track of equipment as there is no section to store it. Secondly, I would like to suggest that if a player has to have another section(Such as an equipment section) that they be able to create another section to write things in.Show lessBeepultin
Ok...? Ok but needs work
So this app looks really good when you first look at it, but there are some things that you don’t see at first.
1. I always check to see if there are any in app purchases in an app. On the App Store, this app appears to have none. I don’t believe they were trying to be malevolent or shady, but maybe they at least could have put that price somewhere?
2. I don’t really wanna pay ten dollars for a pixel character creator that still needs more races, classes, subclasses and all that stuff.
3. It’s pretty slow.
4. OK SO THIS IS A GOOD THING!!! The character sheet is pretty good!!!! But only one slot? Well...
5. Again... It would have been nice to know that I had to pay ten dollars to use this app.
6. Maybe make it more obvious which races are which when you have to change names due to copyright. (Like what are Giantspawn? Goliath?)
7. I will gladly pay the ten dollars if there are just a few adjustments.

Hooked... I’m on it daily.
New to DND 5e and this app was the cherry on top as far as getting pumped about character creation. I’m really a visual person. This helps me stay organized without flipping through books or character sheets. I just copy and paste.
I have never jumped through so many hoops to try and purchase an app before. Couldn’t use a debit card. Went through the trouble of setting up PayPal. Same debit card unfortunately, got the same not supported message.
Seriously guys, take my money! I’ve used the three free version for weeks now. Love it. I’d really like to unlock the standard version.Show lessxxmdfordxx
Amazing, but want more races
This is a really cool product that I plan on using in all of my campaigns. Yet I would love to see some options for additional races, namely Kenku and Tortle, and Shifter. Those are the only races, at least for 5e, that I can’t create, or at least did not figure out how to do so. Everything else I can create through tinting. If it had those three additional options than this would literally be perfect.
Admittedly it is a niche product and you need to love pixel art, but if and your gaming group does than this app is a solid win.Show lessHeavyspearman
Cool concept, but too glitchy to be useable
I really like the idea of this app. My art skills have languished in recent years, so it's nice to be able to throw together my vision of how my D&D character should look. Sadly, it's way too glitchy to warrant me paying $10 for the full version. Graphic layers constantly start glitching out and/or disappearing entirely when I try to alter the colors, and sometimes even whole chunks of my character disappear on the main character screen(my current character is stuck as a floating head...). I would love to get the full version, but until these graphic issues are ironed out, they essentially nullify the whole reason for using this app, since I can't even create a full character without the visuals going awry. Hope to see improvements, as there is certainly some potential here.Show lessNecrodragn
Great app... but outdated races?
I have never done a review for any app I’ve had, but I felt like I should for this one. First off, mad props to the creators; they made one of the easiest to work with interfaces for a character creator I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. The stats are streamlined and sleek and I love the pixelated graphics for the characters. And I was more than willing to pay the $10 for the full version and don’t regret it one bit.
The ONLY thing I’m a little bit disappointed with is that it doesn’t have all of the races. I was really looking forward to creating my Kenku Ranger and they don’t have a template for it. They only have the base races and the warforged, tabaxi, assimaar, and Goliath as extras. Will there be more in the future?
No other complaints besides that and again, I’m not saying that it is not good, just wondering if that will happen in the future.Show lessClockwork98

Thank you for taking the time to write this review Clockwork98! Yup! we're planning to add more races in the future, starting with Goblins and Firbolgs (may have to rename to GiantKin due to copyright) end of this month. While we are planning to add more support for more races, one temporary measure we have done is to add things like bird-heads and minotaur-heads into the head slot so you can customize a kenku or minotaur race using the current base race artworks. For Kenku, I would recommend using Gnomes or Halfling as the base race artwork and adding the bird-head into the headslot and cover the feet with shoes. :) I know you might be already aware of this, but just wanted to let you know in case you haven't! :)Good, but pricey
The Character Sheet functionality is great and flexible, but the premium price is way to high. The free version gets you a few customization options for your character that are good enough, but the rest are locked behind a $10 paywall. Want more than 1 character sheet? $10.
Don’t get me wrong, i would not mind paying for this app, but for $10 I would expect a bit more than there is. Great app and concept, but the price actually turns me away from giving these guys my money, and from what I’ve seen/heard a lot of people feel the same.
