  • Good app

I have an iPhone 6, so I couldn’t get the D&D beyond app because my iOS can’t update anymore. I looked around, and then I found this app. It looked like more of an art app and not a character sheet app, but I figured I’d try the demo. I created a character, and the character sheet was pretty customizable and easy to work with. Sometimes there’s weird glitches where half the page won’t load, and you have to exit the character and renter, but that doesn’t really irk me much. (My phone screen doesn’t work half the time, so it’s not a bother when the app seems to work well anyway.) Anyway, this works really well as a character sheet, and it’s cool to create my characters with art. The only feature suggestion I would make is this: add a way to create your own pixel art in the app. If you wanted to make a pair of gloves, for instance, you could click on a template for them, and then make the art, and use it on your character. (This would probably be a paid feature, which makes sense.) If this feature we’re in the app, I’d pay for standard edition. Other than that, this is a great app.

  • Great service but....

Don’t get me wrong, I love this service, but this app on the iPad is near useless, especially when you compare it to the same web app you can run on the iPad. In fact, its a worse version becasue the interface is EXACTLY the same except its worse. Why? Because for some reason the actual app doesn’t support split screen, but it works just fine with web app in safari. This is frustrating because it means i can’t use the iPad app if I want to run it with a dice rolling app. So 3 stars because service is great, love the product, but the actual iPad app is useless

  • Needs more spells

The art is amazing, the tools are super helpful for character creation, and it’s got a nice dart UI. I bought the full version when it was on sale and am glad I did, as it gives a lot more customizability. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t support many spells, and typing in multiple full spells can get tedious. I would also like an option to have certain clothes show up over/under others, such as hair showing up over hats or gloves showing up under shirts.

  • Love this App enough to pay But...

Could you please add a feature so I can download my character image it seems like you manually respond by email when people request their images so I don't know when I’m going to get the 5 images I requested an hour ago. Luckily I’m not playing D&D tonight
UPDATE: still haven’t gotten the pictures I requested and any subsequent request have also been ignored. I Paid $7 for this app PLEASE LET ME USE WHAT I MAKE!
2nd update: never got my players pictures but it’s okay that campaign is over now and all the work put into making these images was a waste. Will not be using this again enjoy the $7 you got from me

  • Amazing, I love it!

As someone who recently got into a D&D group with some friends, this was a perfect fit to at the least make a character art for great looks. I adore the pixel art style and all of the different options you can use to make a character in the free version. I would love to buy the standard and make even more characters, but I’m only 18 and don’t yet have my own personal credit card to use, nor do I mess with PayPal. If I could pay for it on the App Store, I definitely would.

Thanks for helping me immerse myself in a fun game with friends!

  • I love this app

I got this app a while ago and I felt it was time to write a review. I have never given any mobile app 5 stars until this one. The extra stuff is completely worth it especially because it’s not a subscription. There are so many options for looks alone. You can also make and edit character sheets. The devs are constantly updating this and every update adds more amazing stuff. I love it so much!

  • I like it, but it feels a bit limited

Using sliders to color things is a bit obtuse, especially since they are fairly unresponsive. It also makes coloring some of the clothing almost impossible, you are limited to a single option. Limiting certain clothes and gear to certain races has forced me to start from scratch and choose a different race a few times. Often I’d want the body shape of one race, but it doesn’t come with the armor or gear that my character has.

I’d also like to see some sort of expansion in the future which provides more clothing options. I’m surprised certain options aren’t available already (I couldn’t give my character a headband like Ryu from street fighter, or a mask like Zorro or the Lone Ranger because those options aren’t available).

I’d also hope to see animal races actually integrated instead of being clothing options, since that limits the headgear they can have. If Catfolk and Dragonborn can have dedicated races, so can the others.

Finally, the familiar selection is weird. Several animals are repeated several times over in different colors (something that wouldn’t be necessary if coloring was easier). Some popular familiars (like rats, deer, fairies) are completely missing, while the imp comes in both lung cancer and non-lung cancer varieties.

  • Kajillion star review

I love this app. The day I got it, I was addicted. I honestly didn’t get it to keep track of my characters (which I am doing now), but I got because I love apps where you can create characters. Especially if it’s in a fantasy world. The price to pay? $10. Why are you complaining? If anything it should be higher. That doesn’t mean they should make the prices higher. I also had no idea how to fill out a character sheet for D&D, I just had a crap ton of them laying around on my floor. So this really helped me learn that. And, let’s be honest, I’d probably lose all my character sheets anyway. I also like how the creators respond and actually care and have opinions about what you think could make the app better.

  • A surprisingly good app!

I downloaded this app a couple weeks ago, left a particularly nasty review because of the $10 paid subscription for the full version (more than most appstore purchases) but I've been using the free version of the app quite frequently and made multiple characters, it's really quite fantastic after getting over that! I'm still a slight bit irked, otherwise this would be a solid 5 star review, but the free version includes a variety of character choices and is very easy to edit and navigate your character sheet. That being said, I have seen a couple features that the app sorely lacks that it would benefit greatly to have! The big one for me is lack of a proper inventory. There's an inventory there already, but it seems to be limited to equipment and such, and isn't really a true inventory. at the very least I think it would be incredibly useful to have a quick-select menu to common dnd items, the kind of thing you could find in any major city or town's shops, that you could pick and choose to add to your inventory. That way I can quickly navigate my character's massive amount of ball bearings or whatever else you would be collecting in bulk! That's really just a personal gripe though, overall this is a grat app and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an easy way to manage your character!

  • Would give it six stars if I could

I don’t usually leave reviews, but here goes. When you get an app, they’re usually advertised as better than they, and there is a little dissatisfaction at some point. This is not the case with Reroll. On top of having a massive variety of gorgeous equipment, everything has a set of sliders for individual perfection. If you don’t have the money or just don’t spend money on mobile games and apps (like me) even the free version has enough selection to loosely make what you want. But I recommend the full version (which I got) for ultimate customization. All that aside, as a big D&D player who never had the extra money to get a legendary bundle at d&d beyond, this fixes any need for electronic character sheets and it’s only ten dollars. The UI is smooth and intuitive, it has changeable features like health and spell slots, and a space to put homebrew or non SRD content. And to top it all off... the questions and feedback contact is a real person who is actually helpful and timely. To summarize it all, I really wish I could give it six stars, for going beyond being a great app to being an astounding one.
