Great app but I’d like to see more focus on GMs
I think this is a great platform one thing I’d like to see possible is a system catered more towards game masters where you could quickly make a character that also has a stat sheet but that might just be user error since I just got the app overall I’d like to see this app expand with more options (if that happens maybe consider breaking the equipment options into subcategories or like under chest armor you have medium light and heavy armor bc wow there are a lot of options) I also think it would be amazing if a DM could start a “lobby” of sorts and have players add their characters there I under thats probably way outside of what the devs had planned for this but I think it’s a tool I’d totally use for my sessionsShow lessFriendlyNeighboorhoodTherapist
Neat idea, confusing execution
When looking at this app, it seems like a real good idea. It’s a great way to bring your D & D character to life, to have a representation of what you create in your mind.
Unfortunately, there’s no mention of the necessary purchase for the app to be used. It doesn’t say that there’s in app purchases, as you don’t purchase them through the app, but rather get an activation key from the developers directly. While I’m not opposed to purchasing such a key, I wish it was made clear before downloading the app. Why wasn’t this mentioned in the description? Loving the app but one gripe you can solve
Hello Givola, im loving your app and I will gladly give it a five star rating right away I just have one question. Is there anywhere I can submit my character or show them off in a forum or even a social media account? I think it would be good for your business and your users. Not only gaining you traffic but giving new ideas to long time users making them come back to the app.
If you have a system like this in place already I would love to use it. If you don't just reply to me saying you don't and ill give you five stars regardless.
Apps like this are wonderful and I only care to say something because 1. You guys are rather active in the replies (I love to see that) And 2. This is a great resource for D&D. You guys have to expand or at least get a digital footprint.
When I looked you up you are almost nowhere to be seen in the google searches. Only a reddit post and a kickstarter came up. You have to get yourselves out there a bit and I'm sure your app will explode in the way it deserves. I wish I had thought of something this intuitive, I am excited to see its development.

If you'd like to share, I would recommend sharing in these social networks if you do use them. You're right that we do need to get the word out there more. All in all, I really like this app. It’s so fun to make my group’s characters and see how everyone visualizes them. Once you learn how to use the app it’s super easy to get your characters looking (almost) perfect!
The only thing I wish is that there were more options. It’s pretty difficult to get realistic skin tones with the system in place now, especially since I’m not all that great at color theory. I think this could easily be fixed by more preset human skin tones and more options than just saturation and brightness.
Besides that, the other things that I would love to see in the future are more aarakocra types (specifically a hawk head, not just an eagle!), and more body types (not all our characters are as muscly as the body types on the app).
That being said, I’m really happy with this app. It’s already worth the price, more options would be a great bonus!Show lessjenj20
A little basic, but fun nonetheless.
I downloaded the app when it first became available, but only recently made the 10$ purchase. The art is very nice, the character sheets are too.
My only real gripe is all the limitations. If you don’t play something pretty close to human you’re out of luck. There’s no aaracokra, goblin, tortle, etc. but it makes some sense due to copyrights and legal issues. They have some nice little hat options to create the look though, which is really nice. Beyond that, height options would be great but I can see how it would be tricky.Show lessambitiousjokester
Excellent app, responsive developers.
I absolutely love this app. I joined my first campaign nearly six months ago and have been using this as my character sheet and inventory throughout the entirety of it. I love the level of depth and customization put into every aspect, and it especially makes playing a spellcaster extremely convenient with its fleshed out spell list and easy to manipulate spell slots. NOT to mention, the aspect of adding pixel art to it in the way it’s done is fantastic and helps add a lot of immersion and fun, I often find myself just messing around with all of the visual options. The guided character creation is also very well done, making the process easy to understand and engaging for a new player. The developers are very responsive; sending an e-mail to them will generally give you a direct reply within a day, two at the most. There’s clearly a lot of passion and effort put into this app. I’m excited to see where they take it and I can’t recommend it enough.Show lessGr8b8m8m8ir88outof8
A little frustrating at first
I downloaded it thinking it was such a great idea! But nowhere in the page it obviously states that you need to play $10 for the full app. And then once i got Some money loaded onto iTunes, I can’t buy the full version on iTunes, instead i need to purchase an account key. My biggest critique is that i cannot simply but the full version with iTunes. Just list it as an in app purchase and make it easier to unlock.
Edit: i really appreciate how nice the developer was to offer this. I greatly respect them for this and understand that it takes a lot of work to make an in-app purchase available. After finally having access to the full version- i love it! The character sheet is extremely in-depth and i am even a bit overwhelmed by the content of this app. I think that it is greatly worth the ten dollars and recommend it to anyone looking at it. In fact, the customizability is so grand that you can just make homebrew items in the app if you know what you are doing. First off, the pixel art for bringing your character to life is such an amazing touch that it deserves its own review alone. That being said, some of the choices don't completely mesh well with character models. However it is a small issue compared to how amazing the feature is.
Next, for character sheets, you have two options, a custom sheet, and the SRD guided sheet. I would love if both options gave features from the other. For example the sorcerer gets sorcery points for its resource and the guided SRD shows this. However the custom sheet does not allow you to rename the resource section. The equipment section could also use the ability to select from SRD content as well.
Even with that small drawback the sheet is very fleshed out and properly lists information in corresponding sections. Ive recommended this app to a few people already, and if you are reading this, you should too!Show lessTheWildLeon
Fantastic, versatile character sheet app
I LOVE this app. You can have multiple character sheets saved to it and the layout is simple to understand all while having lots of customization options. I prefer this to a traditional character sheet because all of my stats, spells, items, and more are all in one place and it means I can have my characters with me at all times.
The pixel art is also very cute and the app has a beautiful design. The ability to add custom items, spells, and more is a huge plus.
If I were to nitpick:
1. It would be fantastic to have an online market where people can sell more art options for races and clothing/items not included in the app OR a way to import your own pixel art.
2. A tab for a campaign diary would be VERY cool.
But the developers should be proud of what they’ve made. I backed the Kickstarter for this app and I am so glad that I did.Show lessMarissa Leeanne

Love this app, it is very good! The only things I hope there will be changes to are the color change options being a little better, because it’s very difficult to get the colors you want sometimes, the way color change for the clothing and things works, and also adding in more races, item choices, hair, and maybe also body types and poses. I especially want more options for dresses or skirts and long sleeved/more casual tops and bottoms, because there aren’t many of those to choose from. I do art stuff too, though, so I understand these things take a lot of work so I’m not expecting a beta to have all these things! 9/10 though, great job 💜Show lessOde To Sleep
