Unplayable frame rate
Expect to get a good 12 fames per second at all times. There will be no time in which this game achieves even 24 FPS. Oh and don’t think the game controls well either. My character gets stuck on basically everything. Expect to have a seriously difficult time walking from one end of a room to another. Man I wanted to like this game I really did.Show lessShaneNorton
Classic RPG bug crashes, poor ai and poor framerates keaves this on the shelf.
As an older gamer I LOVE replaying the old RPGs and this doesn’t disappoint. It’s everything I remember.
Few negatives however that seriously impact fun:
The touch interface can be fiddly
Characters often get caught in scenery especially behind open doors
Random crashing can be annoying.
Oh and auto save doesn’t work so
If you haven’t manually saves then it’s tough.
The worst is the problems with framerates dropping to single figures frequently and you have to reload the game.
Only buy this after you have played all the other d&d games.Show lessAdhyskonydh

Ever since the new update, my frame rate has dropped significantly, even after turning down all the graphic settings to minimum. Please fix ASAP game is unplayableCoolshooterguy64

I've played many versions of this game since the original game out in the 90's. It a classic and great to play on the iPad. One disappointment (along with other bioware games on iOS - would be great to have keyboard and mouse support - pretty please Devs. But thoroughly recommended.chavatar02

Update: Thank you to the developer team! The zoom setting is what was causing it. That has fixed the problem and now it works as intended.
This game is one of my favorites. Unfortunately, it crashes every time you try to save, so it’s impossible to play. The crash happens no matter how you try to save, so unless you can play for the hundred ish hours of content straight through, you can never get fat in the game. Hello! Try switching your "Display Zoom" setting under your device's Settings app in the "Display & Brightness" section before running the game. If that doesn't help, try disabling iCloud backup before running the game.Single player works, multi does not
The game seems like a pretty good port, and functions well on my iPad. However, when I tried to go into multiplayer. It just try’s to recover my cd key and will not allow me to play. I was hoping to be able to play with my wife while I’m away on business, but I cannot.i have attempted uninstalling and reinstalling several times but to no avail.,

Terrible Game
So much potential but fails. Incredibly glitchy. Freezes locks up in boss fights, lags terribly in big fights making casting incredibly difficult. Look online and you will see people complaining. Ive tried multiple characters, multiple stories because the game is fun only to find it impossible to proceed because the game freezes or crashes during the boss fight.Show lessbbkees
Very good but missing DLCs ??
Nice to play this on iOS, a classic and personal favourite title.
But I only have SoU and HotU DLC and cannot find a way to open other DLC content.

Just brought this game October 2020 and runs and looks amazing on this year’s iPad Air. Played on a pc back when I was a lad. I really enjoy the more simplistic approach to DND in this version. The ambient soundtrack in this game is the best! So much atmosphere! Well done beamdog!joshmp1985
