I’ve used the app a lot without issues, but twice “connection” issues have left me scrambling with multiple loads of wet clothes. Today, for at least 15 minutes I was getting an error message that I couldn’t connect to any of the dryers possibly due to a low account balance when I had just put $15 in my account after it went to $0 when I’d done three loads of wash and one dry already. Another person was able to connect to and start one of the same machines while I was still getting this error. I updated the app and restarted my phone multiple times. I went back to my apartment to open the app on my WiFi to see if that did anything. No luck. Out of desperation I tried adding the lowest amount I could ($10) to my account. Now, it starts. I shouldn’t need $25 in my account to dry two loads of wet clothes. The phone number in the error message doesn’t work on the weekends. When I sent a message about this all having happened through the app, I got a response of things to try that was clearly copied and pasted and didn’t acknowledge that none of what I’d tried on their list worked other than giving them more money. I am shocked they are close to 5 stars. This company also changed the minimum run-time of our dryers to be able to charge more money.
