Add Dark Mode asap!!

We are about to be in the year 2023 and this app still doesn’t have dark mode.

Will re-rate when dark mode is added.

Where to begin?

1. No Google Assistant or Siri support.
1a. No Google Home Integration.
1b. Will this system support the Matter standard?
2. Limited scheduling options.
3. No support for locking the thermostat.
4. No learning capabilities.
5. No direct web access for viewing compatible devices.
6. Constant reminders to connect to Wi-Fi, even though I’ve already have done so on NUMEROUS occasions.

This is quite possibly the most barebones ‘smart home’ system I’ve used to date. It’s limitations make using this a chore, and it’s becoming unpleasant to use in general.

Hub offline

I’ve been having an issue with they hub offline for going on 3 months! This is dangerous bc I can change my access code! I’ve complained about this for going on 3 months now! No help what so ever, no ensure website I’m real help.. do not use this app or product. This so unsafe

Schedule limits

I like the concept of the app but I am very disappointed in the ability to make the schedule work with my lifestyle. I would not recommend this app due to its limitations. The app grays out time periods they think are not appropriate, which is not reasonable. Why grey out any of the times? This is my schedule not yours. The weekend schedule assumes you have a normal 9-5 job so you can’t set the schedule for a swing shift or even a night shift job because the bedtime stops at 11pm. Or what if I don’t work the weekends, it still assumes I want to change the temp no later than 9am but I would like to change it at 10a or 11a but it won’t let you. I’m frustrated that I get hot around 3am in the morning so it would be great to have the temperature go down at that time but with the constraints this is not possible. WHY WHY WHy would you tout this as being the best thing for me and my lifestyle when you put constraints on the scheduling?????? Please consider upgrading this app to accommodate people with different schedules and lifestyles!

Is This App Still In Beta Or Is It Normal To Force Close 3X During Setup?

My complex rolled this out yesterday and while I don’t really care for technology outside of tinkering with power electronics and renewable energy storage I thought the features list looked perfectly basic. No more fumbling for keys after a brutal day at work with both hands full of stuff, no more forgetting to raise the thermostat a few degrees before going to work and the sensors to detect water around your appliances means I don’t even have to call maintenance at 3am for a leaking water heater, they just show up (in theory). The app interface is a little dry but relatively intuitive. I am prompted to set up my network which fails to do anything but leave a message on my dashboard about setting up my Wi-Fi network. I’m assuming the people that installed my package yesterday already connected it to my network and the app will only be satisfied by the user setting it up, not some kind of admin? My features seem to work so? I go to mess around with the front door lock feature and it freezes. Force quit the app and open it back up. Playing with the scheduling for the thermostat and another icon spinning away in the middle of my screen. Repeat. Don’t even remember what the third app freeze came about from.

I come here to see how far back the update history goes. Probably just a new system with limited real world use…nope over a year of bug fixes. Well I can enter a code on my front door and physically push a button on the thermostat so I’m good.

Good idea, poor implementation.

Too many bugs

Constantly disconnects from my WiFi, door lock doesn’t work at home or away, door codes disappear once assigned.

Bugs upon bugs

Trying to put in my Wi-Fi password and the line where it’s meant to be typed in doesn’t allow me to input anything.

Can’t open Wi-Fi settings from the menu and have to wait until the app offers to help you set it up.

Etc etc…

They should have hired a company that does bug testing instead of putting this out and expecting users to waste their time filling out reviews.

WiFi doesn’t allow passwords that have a grave (`) accent…

Please update WiFi settings / configuration on thermostats to allow passwords that contain a grave (`) accent - I’m not willing to change my password and update the password in over a dozen other devices just because one device doesn’t allow unique symbols to connect to WiFi.

Virtually useless and not secure

First of all, the installation team that was contracted through iApartments blew out my three way circuit during their installation, and my options are now either tearing apart the ceiling to replace the wire and living through these renovations, or as I have been doing, which is walking across the living room to turn on my kitchen light.

I now have other wiring issues in my room where they installed the light switch. Such as persistent humming that drives me insane. Whoever they contracted BUTCHERED the electrical job. They told me they were only basic electricians, but this does not excuse the sloppy job.

Secondly, the thermostat is worse than what I had. I had already connected my previous Honeywell to wifi and found it more functional than this. It is also large bulky black box. Are we regressing with technology? I thought chips and components were getting smaller.

Also, this “secure” door lock has no option to be turned off unless the battery is taken out. If a criminal wants to sit there and punch numbers, he will. If you try to lock or unlock it from your app, the noise is so loud it’s alarming.

It’s too bad I signed a new lease prior to being forced into this monkey business, but iApartments is the exact reason I’m moving out.
