Poor response time in app
I have really enjoyed the air purifier itself, but the application has a lot of room to improve. The interface on the purifier isn’t terribly intuitive so using the mobile app is my preferred method. The app has a very slow response time and sometimes doesn’t work without multiple taps in wash button leading you to not know what it has actually done.
With a little work this could be a great experience and the overall experience with the product has been positive. Also, the Alexa integration seems to be broken.

New app - no bueno...
Just “upgraded” the app to “WINIX Smart” from “WINIX Smart America” and after needing to re-pair my unit (not sure why my account couldn’t transfer...) seemed to work great for all of a half hour. Not the app crashes within 5 seconds of opening it every single time. Reached out to support a week ago and haven’t heard anything back - never heard back from support last time I reached out either... The old app wasn’t great, but at least it worked for what it did. The purifier works great, but why pay for the WiFi version when the app doesn’t work at all, and it can’t connect to any other smart home stuff? This app is a flaming pile of garbage. FIX THIS APP.

Version 1.0.7 constantly crashes
For three months I’ve had the air purifier and it’s worked great. The set up, however, was confusing, complicated, and wouldn’t work on an iPhone 11. I had to pull out my old iPhone 6 to complete the enrollment process and log back in on the iPhone 11. There on after the app and purifier had been working great until now with the latest app update. Version 1.0.7 is constantly crashing and does not connect to the air purifier at all! It is a horrendous experience. APP DEVELOPERS — FIX THIS APP!!!!

App crashes
I’ve had the purifier for awhile and it has always worked great. Recently the app has been crashing so I’ve been unable to access any of the features of the purifier which is frustrating. Tried called customer service and was unable to get through to anyone. I realize are difficult times with Covid and the fires so resources are limited. Not sure if it’s an iPhone update issue or what but it is frustrating. The purifier does work great, but without the app it is limited.

Unusable
I had used this app for a while and it was decent. Moved to a new house and finally set up the purifiers. The app crashes completely as soon as it loads. Tried uninstall - reinstall. Tried new account. Tried setting up as new device. As soon as it starts to load the info about the purifier I’m back on the iOS home screen. Sad that the product can’t be set up any other way. Can’t disable sleep mode without the app. Stuck with a purifier that won’t work properly in the dark.
