  • Fun - controls are clunky though

For hand held devices (I’m playing on iPhone 12), the controls for looking around and moving are not only a bit sporadic but also sometimes downright unresponsive. Sitting there stroking my screen like it’s a cat that doesn’t wanna play 😂
Saying that, it’s my only complaint. Really fun way to spend an hour or so. The music and graphics were really pleasing. There’s a hint at some kind of story/point to the whole thing which was interesting and I’d love to see developers build more on this and add more levels (hopefully 😁). Gutted I’m done to be honest! Definitely recommend.

  • Fun, pretty easy, too short

This game has an interesting concept. Feels like a combination of The Room and Myst. You’re given little explanation of what’s going on and have to figure it out both the mechanics and the point of the game. The puzzles are relatively easy… if you’re observant and have a basic grasp of the physics of colors, you should be able to beat the game in around an hour. I was hoping this entire game was just the first part of a larger game, but alas, it seems to just be extremely short. I hope the developer adds more levels in the future. Overall, I enjoyed playing it, but I wish there was more to it.

  • Terrible

It’s terrible because it ended so quick. This is probably one of the best puzzle/story games I’ve ever played. It’s so fun and everybody is reviewing and saying it’s hard to control which isn’t very smart. It’s controller supported. I think you are supposed to use a controller. I did and it was perfect. The only problem with this is that some of the parts were very easy but others were crazy hard. I like hard puzzles though and if you don’t then don’t get it

  • GIVE ME MOOOORRRREEEE!!!

I love puzzle games, and this one in particular was very immersive. The fact that the game doesn’t try to help you too much is a great thing; nobody wants to finish the game in a day. I’d like there to be some sort of horror element to the next one. The game already has suspense, but I want more!
  • Interesting, but could be better

Needed a lot better descriptions on things like the green pipe, clock book, and compartment in suitcase. Don’t enter the last picture on the tower unless you want to start all over trying to get the hidden achievements. I still can’t get them and have seen videos showing them in the diner corner, bicycle, and bed night stand, but no idea if they are just dragging a certain way or pressing action buttons with no indicators for interaction anywhere. Some areas seem incomplete like the kitchen not being there and why is the blue book the only item with an outline like a prism?

  • Unique and interesting

This is my second attempt at completing this game as I gave up the first time finding it difficult to understand it and work out the next steps. However, I feel I gave up far too easily the first time; this game is truly unique and captivating and once I picked it up for the second time I couldn’t put it down. There are also useful in-game hints to guide you if needed, but this time around I generally managed to work things out for myself most of the way through. The game is enigmatic, very imaginative, dreamy and is a truly unique idea for a game. I loved the artwork, sound and imagination and would love more of this kind of game. It thought it seemed to end quite abruptly but I felt thirsty for more when I finished and had truly lost myself in the game. This to me is a sure sign of a really well made and immersive game.

  • Has potential, but misses the mark

I am a veteran at escape the room games - this was not my first rodeo. I can confidently say that I appreciated the play with colors in the bleak scenery with good ambiance (work on spatial audio rather than room-determined...), but this game was buggy as heck, unclear often, and a pain and a half to get around in. Some suggestions:

    1) Make more puzzles. This is not a complete game, it’s an early App Store “Lite” version.
    2) Fix the controls - that should be the first thing you notice when you start playing
    3) Optimize performance a little?? On an iPhone 12 Pro, this low-poly game should not be running at 15 FPS.
    4) Add things worth getting achievements for... like secrets, not just the story markers.
    5) Scrap the inventory system and start over. Seriously. It’s slow, buggy, confusing, and outright inconvenient. Start at square one, ask yourself what the goal of the inventory is, and go from there.

Honestly, I could keep going, but this is probably not worth your time. But if you’re just dying for a half-baked escape the room game, this is gold for you :)

  • This game is short, hard to control, unsatisfying

I played this game through its entire run through. Saw the ending credits and all of that. When I played through the game, I was thinking “okay, some of the puzzles are a bit confusing, but it’s like myst, it will get better once the first level is over!” But then, when I thought the next level was starting, it’s over.

“That’s it?!” Was my first thought. The ending literally implies that all you did up to that point was the first step on a journey. And then it ends, as if the 1950s film director ran out of film. Incredibly frustrating, considering that this is built up to be something more than what’s essentially a demo.

Aside from the annoyingly short length, the hint system was good, but sometimes too vague, and sometimes it would just give the whole thing away. Here’s a hint when making hints, suggest the first step, not where the ending is.

As others have said, the controls are really hard to use. There’s no ramping for either of the “control sticks” so when looking around, you have to swipe all over the screen, or risk hitting a button or triggering the drop down for iOS. The item menus can be clumsy at times, when you click off the menu, sometimes it will go away, sometimes it will stay there and you have to click the menu button. And other small stuff like that.

Overall, it feels like a demo, and a mediocre one at that, not a full game.

  • Is it going to be a next level?

A bit confusing with moon and the phone, but then I figured it out. The controls of walking in direction is a bit annoying, I found myself constantly turning around, turning left and waking was not operational.

I find games where you have to fetch many objects and return to rooms up and down a bit hard to follow. But overall it is interesting. I wonder if there will be a next chapter and if we find out why colours keep disappearing

  • 2 things I have a problem with

1.. it seriously over heats phones (I’ve played it on a few devices).. and
    2. The ending is deceiving. I thought there was going to be a bother level :(
