Can’t flip screen?
Umm, unless I’m mistaken you can’t flip the orientation of the screen. Charger port always needs to be on the right, I play often with my phone plugged in on my left so this puts tension on the charge cord. In 2021 with apps being a thing for this long now I think it’s an absolute joke that the screen can’t flip and is a deal breaker. I deleted the game immediately when I found no setting for this.Show lessScottyStrife
Poor controls

Really enjoyable!
I truly enjoyed it. As a one-handed player, I have trouble with controls a lot but since I could move around with the right stick and click and all on the side of my one hand it was awesome. I did need a lot of hints as it wasn’t always obvious what to do next. But loved every moment of it. More levels please!!!Show lessMiss_Mel181

Amazing game!
I started playing this not knowing what to expect. I chose it because I knew it had something to do with colors, so i said why not. After a few times of trying it out I was close to deleting it as I didn’t know what to do. But then I started to find things and made me want to find more. With a lot of trial and error and walking back and forth, when you finally do figure it out it’s pretty satisfying. I really liked that this game had an ending, makes me feel like I accomplished it.
The only things that I think could be changed is the speed of the character. He walks at a very slow place which makes it very tedious when most of the game is having to do with walking from place to place.
Also I don’t know if it was just me but when I played the game for too long I felt like I started to get sick. I believe it was the turns of going up the attic lol.
And just one more thing, maybe adding more instructions at the beginning of the game or set a goal. I think it will help others to not give up on the game so quickly.

Very Good Recommend
I hardly write reviews! But this game got me hooked with in seconds! I love every bit of the mystery and puzzles! Really hope the developers don’t forget this game and carry on, to make the story much longer as it’s great!Gooderzz15
Short and clunky, but fun
As a fan of Myst and its variants, I was of course attracted to Discolored. The lack of introduction or tutorial make you jump right in and get intrigued about what’s going on. The puzzles are clever without much use of moon logic (except for ... well, you’ll see). I enjoyed trying to figure them out.
But the interface for free roam is horribly clunky and sometimes downright annoying. Not so much the movement aspect, but the “look” mechanic. My finger was often all over the screen when trying to look at my surroundings, with it forcing me to pick it up, reposition, and do it again multiple times instead of “ramping” the further in radius you go out of the initial area. Using the inventory can also be pretty confusing. There are too many critiques of that to write about here. It just needs a complete overhaul, honestly.
Despite its shortcomings in its mechanics, the game, for me, was fun! I was really getting into it. Which is why I was so disheartened when, once you finish at the diner and return to the office, where it sets you up for the next locale, the credits rolled. Seriously? This seemed like a demo more than anything; what is it doing in Apple Arcade?
I certainly hope the devs have more in the pipeline for Discolored. Fix the inventory system and the clunkiness, and get a full game going and I’ll probably change this to a 5-star review. It has that potential!Show lessthe_zauriel

I REALLY REALLY LOVE THIS GAME!!! But umm... are you gonna add another story? Like it ends were our character enters another place. You guys are probably working on that right now but just asking just In case you aren’t, cause I played this one 3 times now and I’m bord. Also what is the rainbow 🌈 door on the ceiling of the tower? I Loved It!
Amazing puzzle game! It was difficult enough to make a challenge but not enough to get me too frustrated. The hints were perfect at guiding me towards the right path without simply giving it away when confused. The graphics, music and sound effects were beautiful even with greyscale and really put you in the game.
I only have two grievances;
First, I wish the touchpad for looking around was a bit bigger or covered the whole of the right screen. I continually missed the pad while playing which became annoying.
Second, its much too short haha! This is set up perfectly for multiple levels bringing color to the rest of the map, the way you set up the ending I definitely hope you make some more levels!
