  • UPDATE: Great game, update ruined it a bit

This game is a lot of fun. I even made a purchase to not see the ads between some levels. It does get a lot harder if you aren’t buying packs, but the daily levels and tournament are still fun to play. However, after the latest update they kind of ruined it a bit. When watching ads to get perks and other things, it used to be a 30 second ad with a 5 second “back end” before finishing. After the latest update it’s full 60 second ads with a 15 second back end. Almost a minute and a half to get some temporary perk for that level you’re in. There are times when you get other things for watching videos and I would often do that. Now they have doubled the ad length. I’ll still play the game but I’m not watching the ads for perks anymore.

They fixed the ads, back to the 30 second ads. However, the newest update actually has me playing less. Before the update the daily events had 4 difficulty levels that you could play for different rewards. Now the daily event has auto difficulty depending on your level/what world you have completed. That and the reward is one and done. No reason to play to again. So the issue is I find I’m playing less. It’s a fun game so it’s a shame.

  • Great Game only one thing wrong…

Amazing game highly recommend been playing for bout 3-4 years now!
My only issue is the guild events there fine but I don’t see any reason to try and survive like I just load in pick my perks then just leave my phone… there’s just not enough of a reward for me to play and try. I get that it “Builds the Guild” but there is barely any money to be gained and you get no materials or equipment out of it!
But besides that this game is amazing I like the new pet update and the continued update this game has been getting! They are constantly buffing and improving the game for the better! This in my opinion is the best phone game on the market!!!
    Highly recommended!

  • Currency System/Pointers

To start off I’ve been playing this game off and on for a long time. I love the mechanics, perks, and all around gameplay with the events and guild. However, I have uninstalled it countless times due to progress stops that require you to spend money in order to have a chance at progressing. The loot drops for weapon upgrades and hero upgrades are beyond painful to grind for as I can play all day and only manage a little handful of materials. The coins! For a game that requires you to continuously play and grind levels and events to get coins but you’re only alotted 20 energy; only letting you play 4 rounds before having to pay for energy in order to continue grinding for hours and hours on end. There needs to be an immediate increase in the drop rate for materials, weapons, and coins. It is drastically unbalanced in favor of pay to win. It’s ridiculous because at that point the game is about making the developers money rather focusing on the fan base enjoyability in playing. Which is a problem, why publish and develop a game intended for user enjoyability but cripple that main aspect by making the mechanics unbalanced for your favor, it’s pointless. The game is however dying and I’d prefer to still enjoy playing it due to developers fixing these issues, which I can more than imagine would bring a higher fan base.

  • Way too much grinding

Been playing this game for a long long time and I’m finally throwing in the towel. I have been on level 14 for months now. I have bought packages (about $20 worth in the year I have been playing) and the pay off for anything in this game is extremely low. It has just gotten more frustrating than fun at this point.
At one point, I was excited to see that they had gone and changed a few things to make things a little bit more realistic and worth it for players. I couldn’t tell.
For instance, there’s a whole sequence of “catching the golden pig “ . You would think this would be something to get excited about, but the golden pig is kind of a sham. It gives you hardly any payoff.
Also, there are so many characters that look fun to play, but they are so out of reach. Again, there’s just not enough time to grind that much.
Every single part of this game is tiny payoffs in every way.
You will scrap and grind, and no matter how much you buy, you will not get a head. I don’t mind wasting my time, but this is a complete grind only.

And to the team that makes this game. You said you wanted this to be fun and not frustrating. Were you joking when you said that?

  • Old School!

It’s like an old school action game from the late 80s. There are a variety of enemy types and challenges. The weekly events, daily challenges, and guild experiences add to what would already be a great game. The leveling up system is addicting in that old school way. There’s a bit of a grind when you get to the higher levels, but if you’ve gone that far, then you’re probably pretty hardcore and wouldn’t mind anyway.
You can pay to put in a lot of cool add ons, but none of them are necessary for the experience. They just speed up the grind or add cool weapons, equipment, or characters.
I would definitely recommend this game for fans of old school or action games.

  • Game simply costs too much to have fun

Far too many pay to win elements, and they consistently push the boundaries of what is even remotely acceptable. When content is released weekly that costs $20, $30, $40 or more to unlock, I start to question the motives of the team behind this game. But I’d still play every day to do the daily events, and unlock very small amounts of upgrades, upgrades that amass over weeks to grant small increases in stats. Because deep down at its core, the game is fun. But guess what? The events no longer guarantee a drop after the latest update. And you can only run them three times. 25 minutes of gameplay and I can’t even get an uncommon material (27 of these to craft ONE epic gear). I’ll find another game where an occasional $5 purchase is actually appreciated, and the studio has even a semblance of integrity as game designers left, and want to satisfy its player base without exploiting their money for short term dopamine-driven profits.

  • Pretty bad

It’s really bad if I’m not joking I mean seriously I was playing the game and I die from no attacks like i honestly died from nothing it was so dumb because I was on a final boss I was planning to beat for months if your gonna update the game in anyway please update the game better it was just so dumb because it’s not only that this game never gives upgrades like it does but it’s so hard to get them even skins it’s just so difficult I had thought I finally got a skin but it says I need more units and do we honestly have to wait for new events every 3 days I mean it’s like your trying to not let us play events but the only thing we can do is just play the story mode it’s just to frustrating and so difficult and have you even updated the game so we can have more weapons not at all you guys can’t even take the time out to make more additional weapons we use in the story mode and I was playing the game once with the new update that you can have additional lives and I used my first one but the second one you all asked for 300 diamonds the funny thing is I had one more I could use and that’s the reason why I deleted this game in the first place.

  • solid modern day game

first off, I feel like a lot of games these days are either ridiculous hard for absolutely no reason, or so easy you’d rather just do work instead. This game, while it can be tricky at times, feels completely fair, and not just developer vs gamer, without it just being a complete cakewalk. There are of course some things that feel off, every game does have it’s imperfections, like when entering a new room you are immediately thrown into combat, which can catch you off guard sometimes, but that may just be me. And I don’t agree on the energy thing, a lot of developers do this and I don’t really know why other than just for a bit of extra revenue, but it’s not that bad in this game anyways. Speaking a revenue, this game does contain ads, but only about one fifth or so of the ads in pretty much every other mobile game, it feels very well balanced to the point where they can pump out ads without making the game go five times slower because you’re watching so many ads. And one more side note, the combat style kinda reminds me of Terraria a bit, not important to the actual quality of the game just something I picked up. So thank you developers, for putting the time and effort you did to make this.

  • thoughts after 1.5 years

been playing for 1.5 years. currently ranked number two in the master league tower tournament. The game is pretty flawless in my opinion if you're interested in action with twitch strategy. lots of different skins and weapons and I feel it's balanced without requiring purchases. I never purchased a special armor or weapon, and I've been able to keep up with advanced players who have some of the best equipment. here's a hint for newbies: if that boss is just way too hard, consider going titan next time. i'll let you Google that.
