  • Would 5 star but...

This game is great! I’m really happy with everything about it except the coins gain. Getting 1.5K - 2K coins with every successful run of a level is ridiculous and should be increased as you progress through the worlds. I’m on world 9 and I’ve been replaying worlds 6-8 to get coins so I can upgrade my gear and characters but it’s ridiculous when you have 20 energy that takes 10 minutes to regenerate 1 energy and it costs 5 energy to do a normal level and as I’ve said above with the coins gain you’re getting less than 10K coins using all your energy and if you’re successful in beating the last boss of the world and when you need 9K to upgrade your character it’s kind of annoying. I would definitely give this a 5 star but the coins gain stink.

  • Just so impossible.

Stuck in World 5 for almost three weeks now. Completed 29 out of 30. The boss (the big dino) is just dang hard. Just so impossible. And I can just imagine how extreme hard the next worlds gonna be. That said, the game was purely developed for real money to be used.

With all those grinding, I keep on leveling up because of the big XP’s World 5 gives. But then those level-ups mean nothing unless you buy those upgrades which gives you RANDOM upgrades (Which I sometimes end up with useless upgrades). On top of that, it keeps on getting expensive, with those little money they give you on each run. Shaking my head.

And what I don’t get is that whenever I’m full health and touch the Angel, why does it still offers me Heal and that other Heal thing. Shouldn’t it offer me buffs even if it’s just a small buff. The heck. Such a waste of an Angel.

I already paid $2 for this game. Two $0.99 purchases. And that’s the only money they’ll be getting from me.

Gonna delete this game soon. Bye, Mr. AutoFelicia.

P.S. the Reddit thread of this game says that you really have to pay real money in order to advance quickly, but if not, you have to spend 3 to 4 months in a single world.

  • Great game. But... just a few things

This is an awesome game. I wanted to play something like contra, saw this, and gave it a try. It hit the target dead on. Controls are easy, grading are great, and even though it a grinder all the way, I just couldn’t help but enjoy some of the in app purchases which greatly help.
The only things they should work on is the convoluted nature of hero metal level ups, if you look on the forums you can see everyone is struggling on this issue and also understanding the difference between melee, flying, ranged, etc... slows down the game and wastes assets.
    Thanks for the game!

  • A great accident

I downloaded this game on accident and so glad I did. I decided to play before deleting app and glad I did that as well. It is a fast paced time killer. You don’t have to wait around to complete tasks and it’s never ending so far. Great game to kill time at appointments while waiting to be seen… as long as you have WiFi connect or unlimited data. This game will definitely cause you to have a $1000 dollar phone bill without unlimited or WiFi connection. Can’t wait to see any new updates. I do wish there were more active promo codes to keep people interested in continued play.

  • Great game turned bad from greedy developers.

I love Mr. Autofire, but it is to expensive. I have been searching a long times for a game with this quality and finally found it. However, the developers charge way to much money and energy takes way to long to recover. Compatibly, similar games monthly subscriptions are only $4.99 a month. Mr. Autofire is $7.99.

The energy takes way to long to recover. More than 5 minutes for 1 energy. You cap out at 20. That means you can only make 4 runs before running out of energy. You can a max of 10 more energy l, but that’s at the cost of the $7.99 subscription, and it only allows you 2 extra runs.

On top of all this, you still need to watch in run adds to gain some perks and the battle pass subscription does not give you any reduced energy, or extra energy, it just expands your cap by 10.

I don’t mind paying am for a good game here and there, but this game is way to strap and the energy just kills it. I wish they didn’t have the energy option at all because I just want to gun down aliens all day long. Sadly I am rating this game 1 star (less if I could) and my search for a great game will continue.

  • Excessively Difficult for No Reason

Every other 4-5 star review out here is right, this game is so much fun. It’s a super nice game to come home to and just chill out and play it. Until that is, you get to world 6. Obnoxiously difficult to the point that I play one game, get my life wrecked for no reason on level 15/30, then just get off the app for a few days or so. Devs if you’re reading this at all, make it more balanced. There’s no reason a normal enemy should be able to take 1/3 of my health in one shot, and the bosses knocking out 1/2-3/4 of it, while my gun is equivalent to a pea shooter. Fix that and this will be an easy, an EASY 5 star game.

  • Great Game

This game is very addicting and has kept me coming back to play for a while now. It is very simple, yet challenging and very skill-based for a performing “rogue like” mobile game. Once you get the hang of the perks and upgrades it becomes a much more enjoyable experience. I would really like to see some further updates that might add a way to pay to not have to wait for your energy to refill after only a few games, and more interesting and cool perks to use. I am more than willing to spend a little cash on this game, especially if I didn’t have to wait a few hours to play.

  • One of the best games I’ve ever downloaded

I’ve been playing this game for about a year and I can honestly say it’s the best game I’ve ever had on my phone. If you like the play style than you couldn’t ask for anything more.
The devs are always on top of any bug and fix it promptly. Sending out a message letting you know the issue and when it’s fixed giving you some gems for the inconvenience. Almost always within the same day, if not than a matter of hours.
Some games if you don’t pay to play you won’t be competitive but I think I spent like 10 bucks 6 months ago and havnt spent a penny since and I’ve always been in the top 10 on the leaderboards. They balance it out to reward skill over excessive play time as well. So if you just want to hop on after work or every now and then you’ll still have a chance to place high on the leaderboard. Of course if someone spends several hundred dollars they will be ahead of you but the game is fun and if you play you’ll catch up in no time.

  • Not Worth the Grind

I was on the fast track to giving this game 4 or 5 stars. It’s fun. Until it isn’t. Be prepared for a sudden difficulty spike that will force you to grind for hours on end accomplishing little to nothing as low level rewards matter less and less as you level up. However, unless you want to spend more and more hours trying to get just enough materials for a single level up of your weapon, eventually your character gets stagnant. That is of course unless you want to spend real money on micro transactions. So chose, grind and grind until you eventually lose interest in an otherwise fun game. You spend money to get past that one hump, until the next hump comes, then spend more money to get past that and the cycle continues. I was really enjoying this game too, greedy garbage people.

  • It’s Okay

Real review. So I’ve played the game for a week now I’m on the third world. The game itself is fun. However it’s a money grab. You don’t earn enough money in game to really help you you will have to make hundreds of runs just to make enough to level up one time. DO NOT SPEND REAL MONEY to help level up it is not worth it and will end up costing more than it is worth. There are only 8 worlds and the last one is endless so no point it trying to rush there. Also the leveling system is all RNG so you can easily waste hundreds of dollars trying to level up.
