Haven’t used the app but it’s related
Haven’t even used the app because it won’t let me use my school account on the app, when I try to sign in it will automatically takes me to the website. This would be fine if Panopto had IOS support but it literally just doesn't so why even take there. It’s just wasted my time by me trying to figure out how to use it, just for me to figure out I can’t. This app shouldn’t advertise or partner with schools because the app is not properly built, and isn’t straight forward or easy to use it’s a hindrance on students. It’s annoying that this app even is used in professional settings because the app is far from it. Also (on computer) why make make it seem like recording in your browser is a alternative when it doesn’t even record your screen, it just works as a really bad webcam in the browser. You need to actually install the software on a computer to use the screen recorder. F this software, student around the world despise you because of the negligence your company has about the capabilities of your software.

Needs more optimisation
This app is not IPAD friendly. It is unable to do a split screen which I find annoying as I need to take notes whilst having lectures playing.
Dysfunctional app
This is quite possibly the worst video app ever made, when I view the screen it is duplicated on both sides I want to be able to look at only one screen I don’t care about the others the fact you do not have the option is incredibly disappointing
What a mess
The reason I gave 2 stars is only to acknowledge its existence as an app I need and can technically use. But I can’t pause without the rest of the video lagging. If I rewind the video does not rewind, just the audio. If I fast forward the video is just black with audio. Watching lectures from my phone is a luxury, I am aware. But it’s very hard to learn data modeling if I can’t see the video.

Can’t see slides
Why can’t I make the presentation full screen? When using mobile device with limited screen space more than half the screen is taken up by the contents list which should be collapsible.
Also the presentation slide is blacked out. The presenter is in proper colour but the slides are totally unreadable due to being nearly 100% black (not a problem with the actual video).

Useless
Can't login. the browser will go all the way to your organisation's login page and then shut it off.

What’s the point of you can’t cast?
App is very buggy
The app needs to have bug fixes. I am playing a video and the time says 18 minutes but it’s playing from the beginning? Also sometimes I cant see the lecture slides when recorded.

This app is terrible, there no way to organize videos so unless you’re coming straight from the professors link you’re completely lost. The slides it shows hardly ever actually matches up with what the teacher is talking about and if you try to start a video from where you left off the audio still starts at the beginning.

Great concept, terrible consistency
Like other reviews, this is a great concept. But I consistently run into technology errors. Videos that I record will fail to upload or will get lost in the “cloud” in other users folders. Really wish this worked better.
