  • Nonsense app

The first thing a water softener app should tell you is regeneration history, and time to next regeneration. This app has no regeneration history and limited use salt availability. It did detect a leak when I was intentionally cutting a pipe so that part works and I did test the valve shut off which also works. It has since had two false leak detections, but overall that seems to work.

In summary a smart water softener should tell you regeneration history and estimate before any other information.

  • Disappointing

I assumed, since the app was integrated with the new Morton water softener I bought, that it would allow monitoring and control of that device. But it does not track when the last regeneration was, time to next regeneration, or even notify when a regeneration is underway. All it really does is track water flow. It does control the optional shutoff valve, but I’m not sure that’s even worth it.

  • Terrible app!

This app is so useless it really should be pulled from the App Store ! Developers clearly are not ready the customer reviews.

I just connected to Wi-Fi 2 weeks ago on Morton M 45 water softener. After downloading this app and reviewing the dashboard, my weekly water usage shows 35,575! No way. Where was this number generated from ?!!! Also the "current water flow" in the top of the screen consistently shows 0 Gallons/Minute with the busy wheel constantly spinning. Not a useful app.
