Thorough
This was a much more thorough inspection than we were expecting. However, we see this is a very good thing even though it took 3 to 4 hours to complete. You have to retake many pictures again and again for different sections and although it may seem like a pain it is definitely worth it, after what we have been through in the past as renters for the last 15 years. It gives me much more confidence in the management company. I would definitely recommend this to anyone managing a rental.

Great App
Very easy and sufficient process makes for an easy yearly inspection.
Very thorough
Using this app was fairly simple and straight forward. It allows for many comments, pictures and specifics when completing the inspection. It also has an option to listen to instructions for those who aren’t familiar with the inspection format and terms. The only things I would’ve changed was the ability to mark some areas as non-applicable that my home does not have, so I just left a note in the comments. Having the ability to upload pictures from camera roll would also be helpful as I took pictures as we were moving in but when going to complete the inspection I had to go around and retake photos. Overall great app!

Move-in Home inspection
This app is easy to use. If you don’t understand it right away just play around with it and it’ll soon be easy to understand. It also gives good direction throughout the app along the way. Personally I would have much rather did my home inspection in person with my property manager being that I haven’t met them not once not even on a video call. But if you are a r real estate company or property manager that does everything electronically I would definitely recommend this app as the way to go.

Not great, not terrible app
An update on the poor reviews of this app. It has obviously been fixed since the poor reviews were posted. It works ok. The photos came out, it wasn’t a hassle going back to an item if you realize you forgot to note a problem, and the instructions worked. It doesn’t get 5 stars because it could have easier. Note also that this app does not work if you only have 1-2 bars of service. I forwarded the email I received to another tenant and they filled it out. (Two eyes are better than one anyway because this is your only chance to not get blamed for existing damage.)

Easy to use and make notes on issues
Very user friendly. I do wish camera roll uploads were allowed. I took a video of my walk through while the unit was empty but didn’t have access to my ZTenant app until 3 hours later so all my items were inside by that time. I took photos with my boxes and belongings of course in the way so that was an inconvenience.

Brenda has been amazingly helpful.
She is amazing person with so much empathy. I am very happy to know a person like her. She has been so thorough with what she does. At the same time she is trying her best to be helpful even though she keeps saying it is a process. Five star property management is so organised with what they do. We hope to help this understanding for along time to come along the years.

Very thorough documentation process and would recommend
Overall this app was easy to use, intuitive, and great at helping us walk through and document our rental property during our move in process. It was thorough, and allows me to remember all the things I needed to both protect myself from damage I didn’t do, and also protect the leasing company to make sure I saw and acknowledged the necessary items during our move in process. I would highly recommend using this app in the future. Cons: it did take a few hours to complete it, because it was so thorough, but we know that we documented things we would have overlooked without this. Thank you

Easy to used, great way of doing inspections.
zTenant app!
Although we would all prefer not to have to take time out of our busy lives to do a rental home inspection, zTenant made it super convenient ! The app was downloaded easily, user friendly, and even included a tutorial video on how to successfully use the app. I was able to complete my inspection in a timely manner and submit it without issue. If rental home inspections are a requirement with your realtor , zTenant is the way to do it.
