Really disappointing update

I think owners of this app do not seem to grasp the fact that many people don’t sign up for just exercise sake. Set up, instructor and general feel are critical factors. That’s why we often travel to gyms further afield to follow our favourite instructors. Half way through my subscription they decided to change everything I liked about this app, it’s simplicity and even the instructor who was just a normal human being and not some buff model who spent kindergarten years in a gym. I am really annoyed that they would make such a huge change without thinking it through. Had no choice but to ask for a refund. Back to square one seeking an app that’s a bit more realistic.

Definitely recommend if you can afford it.

I have tried the yoga app and the hitt app. They are both fantastic. So easy to adapt your workouts for what you need and you personal preferences such as music and voice leading the workout. For myself I have only been able to try the apps out when they are free as they are out of my price range. However I do believe they offer discount offers for those who can’t afford it - though this isn’t something I have looked into yet.

Latest update slows down workout

Since the latest software update the video keeps buffering where it has been cut. This slows down the overall flow of the workout and makes it frustrating. I already asked for this to be fixed a while ago but with no response or any luck yet. Hope you’ll fix it soon and make this app great again.

A few things missing

- I cant modify the volume of the music. It’s too low

- I would like to have the choice to incorporate free waits, balancing ball, straps, etc
- no stretching at beginning or end of class.

Excellent App Package

I downloaded Down Dog during quarantine because they were offering it for free through April. I liked it so much that I paid for the year subscription in May and downloaded all their auxiliary apps (like this one). Down Dog and HIIT are my favorites. They have so many changeable variables to create a new program every single time. Plus their analytics cross all their apps so you can track your physical movement more easily. I’m a yoga teacher and nutrition coach so I think about these things a lot, and it’s nice to see these app creators doing the same.

Incredible app for lockdown workouts!!

This HIIT and the Down Dog app have been incredible. Not only have they increased the free subscription to January 2021 for teachers, but they have acquired a new customer right here for their kindness, variety of workout and sense of ownership you get with the bespoke settings that you can establish yourself. Well done dudes! You’ve smashed it. Everyone get this app! I’ll be paying after the free trial ends! 100%

Super great app and customer support!!!

This is an app I’m willing to stick to. Not gonna talk too much about how it’s designed well and everything, but one thing I am super impressed about is when I emailed about how I couldn’t pay for a membership right now because I’m a broke college kid, they emailed right back within 2 days and gave me a free 6 month membership. The one thing I am writing this review for though, is the fact that I am trying to count calories right now and if they could add a function where it counts the calories spent doing the workout that would be AMAZING.

Amazing!

This App is simply amazing. It exceeded my expectations. I use it as a substitute to my gym classes due to COVID-19 pandemic and quarantining. I always feel so good after I finish a workout. The simulated workouts are comparable to a personal trainer but also gives the feel of a group workout because I do it with my husband! We are able to get in our workouts before the three children awake. I love the pop music (you have a choice of genre) and the fresh routines. I also appreciate the flexibility of this app to be able to customize my workout intervals, recovery time, dynamic (is circuit rotation v. Isolated muscles), duration, level, etc. Lastly, the App company believes in social responsibility and altruism. They were kind enough to give this quality app for free during quarantine and discounted for students. I have shared this all with so many friends. Despite my skeptical of simulated workouts, this one instantly made me a believer. Thank you to the app developers! This app has contributed to my wellness and sanity. I highly recommend.

To complicated

As someone who has just started to exercise I found the exercises too complicated. I have all my settings on the easiest yet was doing 3 step exercise with kicks, lungs and twists all in one. Physically this is too challenging for me as a beginner- basic lunges would be enough. But also as someone just starting to excercise I found all the steps to complicated and spent half my time watching the video working out what he was doing rather than actually doing the exercise. I also what the yoga and barre apps which are much better- beginning stages are beginner levels.

I genuinely love this app

I’ve tried the gym, tried personal trainers and I hated every second of it. About halfway through our lockdown I found this app, signed up and got a free month - didn’t expect much, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I’m comfortable with most of the exercises and I have feel like I have an element of control. I like that you can upgrade your work out intensity (by exercise rather than by rep) The only thing I’d suggest is the ability to practice exercises before you do a work out - sometimes I pause to practice a work out once or twice then do the work out. Regardless, It’s now part of my lockdown routine and will make sure I’m using it when I’m able to return to the office. I’ve got the other apps, and a yearly membership before my free trial ended. 💪🏻💪🏻
